Theme park
Longleat is a popular destination in the UK, offering a variety of attractions for visitors. It features a drive-thru wild animal park, an Elizabethan house, theme park amusements, and events. Visitors can explore the magnificent Safari Park and Main Square attractions or stroll through acres of woodland paths. The location in the village of Horningsham provides easy access to other nearby attractions such as Shearwater, Stourhead, Alfreds Tower, and Stonehenge.
We really enjoyed Longleat and bought a 2 day ticket so we didn't have to rush around. We enjoyed the safari first and that included risking it and going in to see the monkeys!...we ended up with less parking sensors coming out of the enclosure 🤦‍♀️😬🐒 ooops. We really enjoyed the African village where you can get out and feed the giraffes for an extra fee. Strolling around we go to see the African painted dogs, lemur's and ostrich's. It gets very busy in the safari first thing so the second day we went in the afternoon when it was much quieter. So my recommendation is to go around the 2pm feed for the giraffes. The Longleat park was great fun too, there was loads to do there, more mini animals to see and the bat caves for really amazing to experience. There was indoor circus fun too and some vintage fairground rides. Also the largest hedge maze... It was massive! We finally got to the middle then decided to take the fastest route out, we only managed less than half the maze! There was also a boat safari which was great to feed the sea lions for a small extra fee for the fish too.
Rachel L — Google review
Although there was lots to do they let far too many people in meaning queue times are extremely long. Granted we went on a bank holiday but from entering the driveway to getting out of the car took nearly an hour. The train took another hour and the boat ride was much the same. This resulted in a rush round to see as much as we could to get value for money. The toilet were very dated and I think for the money you would think it would be kept in top condition. Very few baby changes which was surprising considering it's a family attraction. If they cut admission numbers by half it wouldn't be too bad and probably better value for money but they fact we spent close to £100 I am disappointed. The safari was also over subscribed and very little to see. The staff were friendly enough and prices in shops weren't too bad. The play parks were okay. Feeding the birds was good for the kids but then they charge for that too. Overall I would only recommend on a very quite period and If you can get tickets on a good deal. It wouldn't be so bad if they weren't making £4mil profit a year

Wow what an amazing experience !! love how you can get so up close to all the animals in your car, (note it’s possible to turn right before entering the monkey enclosure and risking damage to your car) Once you’ve finished your drive around head back to the main Long Leat house and go on to see other animals on foot near the main house where you can get even closer as there’s no fences or glass to look through you’re in middle their area they live in with them ! “Be brave” and go into the Bat Cave and experience the bats flying around you and get very up close to sloths climbing around above your head ! Don’t miss feeding the birds and having them land on your arm or hand to feed from a small plastic pot with nectar in, these can be purchased from entrance to the birds for £1.50 per pot You won’t believe how close you can get to the koalas ! Make sure you don’t miss taking the boat trip around the lake and get up close to the sea lions and the hippos !
Mzazi — Google review
I love it here, I visited alone during weekday. Lots to see and do with places to eat or grab and go with food as well as a sweet shop. I always go around the safari first then I know I can spend the rest of my time taking my time to see everything else. The only thing I had to wait for is the jungle cruise (but I went on twice and the first time I didn't wait at all), it all depends if the boat is out already on the lake or not. Highly recommend, not a cheap day out but worth it in my opinion.
Gemma E — Google review
We are koala fans so went to Longleat specifically to see Koala Creek. We absolutely loved it! Such a great facility that is really spacious, beautifully laid out, well maintained, and you really get a sense that the koalas and their friends are well cared for in a space that really values conservation. Most importantly of all, you get to the six koalas super close up while respecting their space and without disturbing them. They tend to be sleeping a few metres up in the various trees and spaces available to them. And they are gorgeous! We were fortunate enough to visit on a Monday during term time, so the whole place was very quiet. We enjoyed seeing all the other animals as well as the safari boat which was good fun. All the staff made a great impression as very welcoming and enthusiastic. All in, highly recommended and even more so when you go off season!
Ncreswell — Google review
Had a great time, loads to do with the road safari, boat safari and walking around the other animals. Kids enjoyed feeding the sea lions from the boat safari and the koalas were one of the favourite things too. Bat cave also good with a couple sloths inside. Never been so close to meerkats before.

One of my favourite places to visit. I travel here yearly with my family and the experience never grows old! It is a wonderful place with so many options on where to go what to see and what to do you truly can't fault this magical place.
Charlie W — Google review
Great day out! It's one of those places that has a little bit of everything. The main event is the drive-through safari, which is a classic for a reason. You're in your own car, driving through these large enclosures, and the animals are just roaming around. We saw lions, tigers, and a bunch of other animals, and it was cool to see them so close. Beyond the safari, there's a lot to do on foot. We did the Jungle Cruise boat ride where you see the gorillas and feed the sea lions, which was a highlight. We also walked through the penguin, meerkat, and giraffe enclosures, which was really fun. There's also a big hedge maze, a train, and a massive play area for kids. It's a full-day trip, easily. We got there early and still didn't manage to see everything. It's not a cheap day out, but considering how much there is to do, I'd say it's good value for money. Definitely a solid choice for a fun day out.

Hiking area
Nestled in the heart of an intensely farmed landscape, Cley Hill is a captivating destination managed by the National Trust that beckons nature lovers and history enthusiasts alike. This ancient site boasts a remarkable 2,500-year-old Iron Age hillfort and a Bronze Age burial mound, making it rich in historical significance.
Great walk with amazing views. Free parking, but is limited. We parked fine but on a busy day, the car park would fill up very quickly. Great for dogs, but on lead due to cattle.

Beautiful view at the top. Very narrow trails on the edge of the hill, be careful when it's wet. Very good for kids as well as it is not too steep/high.

This is an amazing viewpoint looking over the Warminster countryside, and I had the pleasure of watching some local dancing during the sunset. Enjoyed my time here and will come back again.

Absolutely amazing hill to visit if you are in the vicinity. Free parking. No staff. The hill can be climbed on the face of it but it is very very steep. Or you can take a longer easier trek. I did the steep incline and decline with my very active 2 year old and he smashed it. I did get a few dodgy looks because of how sheer the drop is and if he stumbled it is a long way down. The hill has another hill on top of it. It is so beautiful up there. Definitely worth a walk.
Kirsti W — Google review
Loved the walk, it's easier than it looks, beautiful views, we even spotted a crop circle in one of the neighbouring fields. There were cows on top of the hill which made it even more interesting. The car park is right at the bottom of the hill and takes quite a few cars, over 30 I'd say. Loved it.
Dancing S — Google review
A moderate-gentle ascent if you take the easier route going around the hill. It's a small hill so it doesn't take too long to hike to the top (<20 mins). Very peaceful and scenic. Definitely worth a stop (e.g. if you're heading to the nearby Aqua Sana spa). If you're planning on using public transport, then the closest bus stop is the picket post by the roundabout. Do note that there's no sidewalk so the walk here can be pretty treacherous (a safer option would be to take part of longcombe dr and walk the rest of the way through the forest).

Mountain peak
Cley Hill, a stunning natural landmark located just west of Warminster in Wiltshire, England, is a treasure trove of history and beauty. Donated to the National Trust by the 6th Marquess of Bath in 1954, this hill has become famous not only for its archaeological significance—boasting an Iron Age hill-fort and Bronze Age barrows—but also as a hotspot for UFO sightings since the mid-20th century.
Close free car park makes this place accessible. Park& walk, go through the gate on the right & keep going up. Gorgeous views. Kids friendly.
Mira D — Google review
This is a very popular place to visit. Can get busy in the very small car parking area. You need to wear sturdy footwear and a jacket for those windy days. From the bottom of the hill, you can walk all around the base or go straight up to the top, depending how fit you feel! On a lovely day, you could have a picnic or just admire the views. Longleat forest can be seen or magnificent fields to the opposite side of the hill, and it is FREE to park up and walk around. Dogs are welcomed, but pick up your dogs poo and take any litter home with you. Keep Britain tidy 🙂
Sally C — Google review
Small car park, but its free so I can't complain. Cley Hill is a great little hike, probably much easier and more enjoyable in the summer. It can be very wet, muddy and slippery in the winter
Jacob — Google review
What a wonderful place to visit, great place for exercising the dog, or just a leisurely stroll around this National Trust ancient monument. The climb to the top is definitely worth the effort as the views are panoramic and stunning!

A lovely hill with fantastic views all around.
Martin H — Google review
Lovely walk, you can take an easy (longer) walk up and around the hill or if you’re feeling more energetic you can take a much more direct route straight up the hill, be warned this route is very steep. Once at the top you are rewarded with great views of the surrounding countryside. There is an OS trig point on the hill.

Warminster Maltings Ltd is a historic site that has been lovingly restored and offers tours for visitors to witness the process of converting grain to malt. The maltings primarily use barley but also produce malt from wheat and rye. The owner, Robin Appel, warmly welcomes guests and provides an excellent buffet with locally brewed ale. Despite some challenges with grain quality, visitors appreciate the informative tour and hope to establish a long-term relationship with the maltings.
First class service from Robin Appel the MD to our request. He was helpful and informative and while we were not able to proceed with our malting, this was down us and our grain quality, we hope that we may be able to do business with the Maltings in the near future and hope to build a long term relationship between us. A group of retired guys visited Warminster Maltings for a tour to see the process of converting grain to malt. Most of the grain used to produce malt is barley but they do produce malt from wheat and rye. When we arrived we were met warmly by Robin Appel the owner. The start of the visit was an excellent buffet and an equally excellent locally brewed ale. Robin bought the maltings some twelve years back when it was in a sad state of repair with leaking roofs and other major defects. Today it is a building to be proud of, much as it was in its early days. Robin has an obvious enthusiasm for his new venture of producing malt in a traditional manner and was upbeat for the future of Warminster Maltings. As we moved around the building seeing the various stages of malting Robin was very knowledgeable of the process and answered any questions asked. A most enjoyable visit and one that can be confidently recommended.

The Coffee Garden is a charming café located at the end of Warminster High Street, featuring a cozy indoor space and a covered courtyard garden. Despite its compact size, it offers delicious coffee, delectable cakes, and simple meals with a limited menu due to Covid restrictions. The café also provides an alternative menu for late-day visitors. Guests can enjoy the quaint outdoor area while savoring their food and drinks.
Driving home home the out skirts of Salisbury and decided I needed coffee. Did a quick search and found if I drove on a little more there seemed to be a lovely cafe in Warminster. The Coffee Garden did not disappoint. I was very late in the day so the lunch menu was not an option, but lucky for me there was a fabulous in house made alternative. You have to try the pepper sausage roll! They asked if I wanted a little salad with it and the combination of the green salad, the coleslaw and home made chutney was extremely delicious. The coffee was really good. Got a cake to go and another roll for smithy as I knew he would be very sad if I returned home without a little piece of my adventure. 😀 The cafe also has a lovely little garden. I had a little wonder around Warminster but have suggested to smithy that we go for an explore very soon. Photos of around #thecoffeecafe and #warminster

First time I’ve been ,doesn’t look that much from the front but goes right back in to a garden at the back ,some of it covered so it’s not mega hot in the summer Nice garden feel not too busy when we went around 12 , can eat there but we just had coffee and cake Around three quid a cup and around that mark for cakes More like gateau than doughnuts and brownies but ok Nice atmosphere Waiters super young and fashionable but nice friendly and willing for a laugh Now I know it’s there will return

Always knew this was a Magical place, but now I know their secret. They have Fairies helping make use of the limited workspace. Watch out for them down the bottom of the garden and note their tiny door! Main indoor space is compact, but it does have a back “garden” covered space, with lots of fresh air! Also it has the most compact “tiny house” toilet, which makes use of every inch. Even has an integral hand wash basin over cistern. Well worth a visit. Don’t be tempted to try their Banana Bread breakfast with yoghurt etc. It’s addictive - once tried you’ll be hooked! Lots of fresh fruit, so it does count towards your 5 a day! Now £6.20 was £6 - a modest increase, well deserved August 24. Prices have crept up a little but still great value, so very happy to continue supporting them. Costs keep rising after all.

We had ana amazing experience at The Coffee Garden, after an extra hour on the road due to bad traffic, this place turned our day back into a nice day! Their food was really nice! We particularly enjoyed their homemade chorizo sausage rolls! And we finished it with an incredible carrot cake! If we are close by again we will definitely plan to visit again!

Restaurant
Nestled at the far end of the park within Center Parcs Longleat, Foresters' Inn is a delightful gastro pub that offers a cozy dining experience close to the sports center. During my visit on a Wednesday evening, I found it pleasantly uncrowded, allowing for quick seating and prompt service. The food was served hot and bursting with flavor, making it an average-priced option for families—around £100 for five people.
Great service and food, not sure where the criticisms of certain reviews. The food was very good and served up quickly, our waitress was very friendly as well!

We really liked the interior in this restaurant. We think this had one of the nicest interiors in center parcs and the food was great too! We came here for a Sunday lunch - I ordered a beef roast dinner and my husband ordered a prawn cocktail to start and a steak with fries. I do think the roast beef could do with more seasoning (The menu also said it would be served medium and it wasnt...it was more well done) but nonetheless, the food was still lovely and we had a great experience as our server was warm and friendly. :)

Located at the far end of the parc within centre parcs longleat, this gastro pub restaurant is located close to the sports centre. We visited on a Wednesday dinner time where the premises didn’t appear overly busy. We however were sat quickly and food and drink were ordered and served up in good time. Food was hot and tasty and price wise it was about average for centre parcs. It worked out roughly £100 for a family of 5. A good choice of drinks and the childrens menu had a good selection. The joys of the restaurant was having a large play park located next to the side entrance. Staff were friendly and happy to help. Overall a good choice of a place to eat whilst on your stay

We came here a few years ago and absolutely loved it. Steak came in a sizzling plate and everyone loved their meal so we were keen to return only to be totally disappointed with the decline in things. Staff are great and service was good but the quality of food is less than half what it was. Felt like wetherspoons really, steak had clearly been cooked from frozen and no effort! Don’t waste your money!

I visited this place early afternoon midweek and it was empty all but. The staff were a little preoccupied and it took a little while to be served, but they were all in very good moods and full of smiles. The place it quite large and is set out really well. It feels cosy despite its size and the decor is comfortable and warming. It works real well. I did look about for a food menu but couldn't find one so I assumed it was operating as a bar more than a restaurant. The drinks menu was fairly big and they seemed to have a good choice of wines and spirits. All in all a nice place, but not spectacular.
Weekend W — Google review
Absolutely terrible experience. Visited this place on our last day at CentreParcs for a quick lunch before our adventure nets booked activity. We sat inside (2 adults 2 kids age 3 and 5) ordered our food. Once the food arrived, so did the wasps. Wasps everywhere. On our plate, drinks, no amount of ‘shooing’ away would help they just kept coming. Eventually my 5 year old got so scared after they wasps were landing on his plate and hair that he started screaming and just ran out the door without even waiting for us (he NEVER runs off like this). He was screaming, sweating, uncontrollable anxiety. He had only managed 1 chicken nugget and a sip of his drink. I had only managed to eat the egg of my meal, that’s it. The 3 year old then followed me and the 5 year old outside in all the commotion (or ‘excitement’ for him). So he only ate 2 nuggets. Husband asked for a takeaway container as the kids refused to come back in, but they don’t offer this, they could only offer foil. I mean how to you eat peas off a foil?? Husband only managed half his meal also. When husband went to pay, he asked if he could have the kids dessert to takeaway (it was part of the kids meal deal - main, drink and dessert). Waitress said no, as she hadn’t put it through as a meal deal, only as individual items (which is more expensive!) and she couldn’t change it. My son was so distressed we ended up cancelling the activity as he just demanded to go home - as in proper home (we managed to convince him to go back to the lodge instead for one more night). As the activity was cancelled an hour before the time, we were only refunded 50%. I since complained to CentreParcs and was refined the full amount for the cancelled activity. But nothing from the restaurant, which is disappointing. If these were flies or mice, it totally wouldn’t be acceptable. Wasps are also a pest (probably more annoying/troublesome than mice/flies) and I get we are in the middle of a forest (there are actually wasps everywhere outside) but there should be some kind of pest control when trying to have a relaxing meal. The restaurant has all the doors and windows open, they could have kept these shut to prevent so many wasps entering and those people who wanted to eat outside could have as there is so much outside seating available.
S S — Google review
They had a kids meal deal for 8.95£ (main+drink+dessert) we got 3 meal deals Then got the bill and was charged for everything and coast 75£ I asked them to change it which they did and after I reviewed it i found put they added a main that coast 15£ so i asked again to change it. First bill =75£ Second bill =43£ Final bill = 31£ So if i didn’t review it i would have paid more than double. Mistakes like this should not happen. So always check your bill and orders The food was not good at all

Great looking place. Nice outside seating with heaters. Heaters not really hot so was pointless this time of year. Food was OK, served pub food, quite expensive for what it was. One of the chicken burgers was undercooked, not something you want to risk on a holiday but it was replaced with a cooked one. The seating was comfortable and got some free bread and butter while waiting for food.

Indian restaurant
Rajinda Pradesh is a hidden gem that you shouldn't overlook, even if some reviews might make you hesitate. Thanks to a friendly recommendation from Jack at the sports center, I decided to give it a try and was pleasantly surprised! The welcoming staff seated me promptly without a reservation, and the atmosphere struck just the right balance—bustling yet comfortable. Opting for their experience menu offered great value and showcased an array of delightful Indian dishes.
I felt compelled to write a review as we very nearly gave this restaurant a miss due to many dire reviews but thanks to Jack on the sports centre reception, he gave me the confidence to give it a go - and I'm so glad I did. The staff were lovely from the moment we arrived, without a reservation, they accommodated us within 5 minutes. Choosing from the experience menu, which offers fair value at £24.95 for a 3 course meal, we ordered butter chicken wings, curries advised by our lovely waitress (Megan you were so attentive) which included rice, followed by Indian ice-cream. It was much much better than I was expecting and upon asking Megan whether the chefs actually have any input into the sauces, she talked me through a little of their commitment. So no, they are not microwave meals, yes they do have flavour, and yes, the chefs (and the wider team) really do care. I LOVED the extra touch of coconut shavings on my coconut rice and the rose petals on my ice-cream. It was really lovely. Thank you all, I hope others might follow suit and give you some of the praise you deserve 🫶🌸

Good service but bang average food, mostly tasting like supermarket curry with no real depth of flavour, loads of sauce tasting mostly bland. The naan breads were more like pizza bases than what you get elsewhere, and they've found a way to charge you £15 for the poppadoms and chutneys for 4 people, whilst serving you half the amount by pre splitting the poppadoms into 8 pieces and piling them up to look like more are there. If you love a good curry, then this is best avoided in my view. Dinner for 4 was £135 with only 1 alcoholic drink, which is at least £30 more than we pay in our local at home for better curry and more beers.

This was our first time visiting this restaurant at Longleat Forest, and unfortunately it will be our last. For a family we feel this restaurant is not value for money and the service we received was terrible. On arrival, we were left standing for five minutes waiting to be seated. (This was getting to be a regular thing) After getting to our table it took longer than it should to give our order, and the drinks took ages. The person who looked after the table seemed friendly, but was frustrating as she took our order down incorrectly on two occasions. Our food took a long time to be served and when it was we had a rather abrupt woman serving it bellowing out the names of the dishes not giving us time to think. This was unprofessional. The food was ok, Naan breads were burnt underneath but apart from that, we enjoyed ourselves. When paying for our meal at the end, the waitress didn't thank us for our custom, and, a 7.5% service charge was put on us, which certainly wasn't deserved in this case!

We came in as a walk in. They accepted us but put us in a back table with no view at all even though the restaurant was empty. The waiter was super friendly and the service was good. The food was nice (not the best Indian food) but was okay. The lamb kurma wasnt good at all.

Two of us visited here and had the "Experience" 3 course menu which consisted of a starter, main and dessert. Both of us had Korma, one chicken and the other lamb. The lamb was fatty and not very nice. The korma was actually quite bland tasting. The naan breads were good though, both freshly made and very tasty. The dessert was limited, and was not really anything special at all. Overall, it cost £70 for the both of us, that included drinks, the 3 course menu and the naan breads. We were quite full at the end, but personally whilst I thought that they did certain aspects well, overall the food just did not have the wow factor. Big shout out to Megan though, who served us both. They were really attentive and made sure our plates were took away and out next course come out quickly, along with some great holiday and pet talk. Thanks Megan.

Ordered takeaway to our lodge as a treat. Really wish we had not of bothered. I genuinely could of made better in 20mins on the cooler and I'm by far a good cook. Our meals turned up boiling hot to the point we couldn't touch the containers. The Curry's were definitely out of a jar, they taste exactly like cheap asda curry. Tikka masala was extremely bland and the jalfrezi has zero spice. The rice barely filled half a tub and was microwaved out of a bag. The price was expensive but for a good meal that's understandable but for jar food, absolutely ridiculous. We ordered pizza for the kids from the pizzaria which was really good so if your reading this then I would advise choosing something other than this Indian and try the pizza or other options.

Food was nice. Tikka Masala was very flavoursome and the naan was tasty too. Sadly outperformed by other on-site restuarants though.

Italian restaurant
Restaurant
Bella Italia is a laid-back eatery that offers a variety of traditional Italian pasta, pizza, and grill dishes. They also have a special menu for children. The waiter had good knowledge of Italian cuisine but lacked proficiency in the language. However, they were upfront about the available options and provided polite and helpful service. Despite being only 1/8 full, the service was somewhat slow, possibly to create an appearance of busyness.
I had Freya and Owen as my servers, they were quick and attentive, easy to get hold of and always chatty and kind. They worked fast around the adorable but slightly slow Bellabots! It was 30 degrees that day and was warm in the restaurant and Owen offered us a desert on the house because it was so hot! This was so unexpected and kind and really made our evening :) the food was impeccable as always but I was extremely impressed with the service this time around

I booked a table for a family dinner and the restaurant was decent at best. While the food was great, some dishes arrived cold and not properly cooked. Additionally, the restaurant was uncomfortably hot, despite the cool weather that day. When I arrived, I asked to be seated near the windows, but the manager (Collen) refused and claimed that there aren’t any tables. This was far from the truth as there were a handful of available tables throughout our dinner. While I understand the restaurant was somewhat busy that evening, the manager was far from accommodating as she refused to amend the lack of ventilation and claimed that there was nothing she could do. Her lack of cooperation made our evening unpleasant 😕. In contrast, our waitress (she was from Ukraine) was very understanding and friendly as she tried to make our visit pleasant 😊

I would honestly give more stars for the service if I could! Our waitress was Anna who was so cheerful and smiley :) It was busy but still she did her job perfectly and still managed to go above and beyond! Thank you for the lovely meal, service and atmosphere created.

I ate at Bella Italia on Thursday night in a party of 6 adults and 1 child. A thoroughly pleasant experience it was too. A welcoming ambience, terrific and attentive waiting staff and good food, everything that is needed for an extremely enjoyable evening. Highly recommended.

Really pleasant restaurant, booked it for an extended family event. Food was nice, although the aircon didn’t seem to work too well. Other than extra warm indoors, quite a pleasant experience. Our writer Liam was lovely and very attentive. Nice experience overall. What was special for me- that there wasn’t just pizza and pasta at the Italian restaurant, I had a sea bass which was cooked to perfection.

We went to the Bella Italia at Longleat Center Parcs, had a great time! The kids menu works really well with smaller and larger portions (we went for larger!) and all the food was delicious. Tried their summery cocktails too and they were fab, a real treat. They have an auto server bot with an animated face that brings the food to your table, everyone loved it. Thank you very much to Owen especially for looking after us and showing us a lovely evening!

Best Italian I've ever enjoyed outside of Italy. Our server Ellie couldn't have been more accommodating, my partner is gluten intolerant and Ellie was a godsend and took her time to make sure everything we ordered was gluten free and wouldn't cause us any issues. If we could give this place 6 stars we would. Highly recommended, the food was fantastic and Ellie is a credit to the place, she really made our day

Day 2

Center of town
For day 2, we recommend exploring the center side of town. Start the day off with Warminster Lake Pleasure Grounds, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to Warminster Athenaeum. All together, your day would be filled with about 7 hours of non-stop fun.

Warminster Lake Pleasure Grounds is a charming recreational area situated in the southeast corner of Bargate Cottage. During the summer season, visitors can enjoy the tearoom and boathouse owned by Shearwater Sailing Club. This park caters to people of all ages, offering various activities such as walking around the lake or letting children play in the designated area. Additionally, there are ample seating options available throughout the park, along with a small but delightful café.
We came here on a windy grey day but it didn't dampen it's beauty. We walked all around looking at the lake, tennis courts, skate park, and what looks to be a lovely walk down the river. We hope to move here and this place is certainly one of Warminsters attractions.

A lovely discovery hidden away from the main street of the town. Green, and lush. Relaxing and lots to do.... Or just sit by the lake and enjoy the rest. Cafe... Play area. Water play. Ice creams. Like being at the beach... But minus the sea!

A nice little lake to stretch your legs after long car drive ! They have a big play park for kids and a skater park for teens. The coffee shop a plus with toilets on side. Will visit again if the weather is nice parking is okay if early !

Gem of a town park, very close to town centre. Well maintained. Adjacent Nature Reserve too. Large boating lake, Community Centre, Tennis courts in great condition (need to book in advance). Pickleball. Boat hire on the lake. Cafe pavillion. Skate park. Splash pad. Scouts Hut.

Fantastic park with a variety of things to do, playground, splash pad, skate park, row boats, walking paths, and plenty of grassy area to kick a ball around. Great place for a picnic and bonus: if you are short on time to prepare at home, Morrison's grocery is right across the street. There's also a cafe with drinks and a small selection of snacks inside the park. Only downside is there are only about 8-10 parking spots inside the park, but there's free street parking up the hill from the park, so it's not too difficult to get a spot. I arrived mid/late afternoon on a Wednesday.

A fun time at the splash park, very busy in the baking sun however a good way to cool the children and stop for a picnic. The floor is lava play area was cool, kids enjoyed racing along this and the boating lake would have been great to go on if we would had a little more time. Nice little meadow next to park for picking blackberries, and spotting some wildlife. Parking is a challenge but you do get 2hrs free in Morrisons opposite the park.

Lovely lake to walk around with plenty of Canadian Geese. Great adventure and scooter park for children. Toilets and cafe. With friendly squirrels.

Lovely big lake full of ducks, swans and geese, big play area for the kids, younger on one half and older things on the other and a splash park but in the middle. (bring the kids a towel and change of clothes) There are open grass areas to sit for picnics and a handful of benches and tables dotted around . They had little ice cream hut, toilets (although no toilet paper and i can imagine the queue will to be big on busy days, there was a fairly constant queue while we was there ). They also had tennis court, basketball court, Mini golf, and you can even hire a little lake row boat .

Shopping mall
The Three Horseshoes Walk is a delightful experience nestled in Chapmanslade, perfectly positioned between Frome and Westbury. This charming area serves as the community's hub, featuring a partially covered mall that houses various shops, including a Post Office and popular retailers like Iceland and Poundland. On Fridays, visitors can enjoy an open-air market at the Central Car Park entrance, showcasing fresh produce and unique stalls. For antique lovers, Silver Street offers an array of vintage shops filled with treasures.
I love to pop in here if I am this way. All the shops (that I go to) have really lovely welcoming staff. There's a nice wide range of shops and a good old charity shop or 2 thrown in for good measure.

Quite rundown. Not a pleasant part of Warminster town centre if being brutally honest. Edited to take account of owner response: This is just my viewpoint as an infrequent visitor to Warminster. I just found the area dirty, unpleasant and rundown. Attractive seating for folks to rest or enjoy their coffee and pastry from Greggs (noting the store does not have in-store seating) and some large potted planting would help, as would better litter control. When I visited the bins were overrun. Its great that the location is 100% let - especially in these challenging circumstances - but to attract a bit more custom a bit more cleanliness and attention to detail might help.

The Old Fire Station in Warminster offers a unique dining experience with its wood-fired oven, locally sourced beers, West Country cider, and fine wines. This family-run restaurant is known for its friendly atmosphere and reasonably priced high-quality food. The chic decor pays homage to its name, creating a relaxing ambiance. Guests have praised the attentive and accommodating staff who are mindful of dietary restrictions.
We had a lovely lunch here. Really quirky place with a great atmosphere. The staff were really friendly. We had some dishes from the Tapas menu. All very tasty. One of us had the chilli and nachos. That was very good. We didn’t have pizza but I saw them cooking in the pizza oven and they looked delicious. The menu is a bit limited but the food is very good. We really enjoyed our lunch here.

I have left feeling most satisfied and content 😌 Today I tried a traditional margarita pizza to see the results of their cooking. The wood fired oven really comforted me and compliments the atmosphere of the restaurant. The food didn’t take too long and the hot chocolate was absolutely delicious! It warmed my insides and made me feel nice and relaxed ☺️ The staff were lovely and waited on us immediately! The pizza was served piping hot and it was delicious 😋 the cheese melted in my mouth and the crust was cooked to perfection! The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful too. The fairly lights were an excellent touch and I loved how old firemen equipment was kept! Eg, the coats, ladders and hats etc… While they did forget to bring out our cutlery, it was an absolute pleasure dining in such a wonderful restaurant ❤️

Stopped by The Old Fire Station for an evening meal, we did not have a booking and they were fully booked that evening, non the less they found us space/gap in the bookings and served us a FANTASTIC meal. The food was simply sublime, the flavours were of amazing quality and the service was spot on, everyone was friendly, polite, welcoming and accommodating. Wonderfully decorated in chic style paying homage to the name it’s a very aesthetic and a relaxing atmosphere. We had a fabulous evening - the food is heavenly! The Old Fire Station Pizza was delicious and I am so pleased Dave (the owner) talked me in to it and the smoky cheese on top - one of the best pizzas I have had! We were taken care of and the atmosphere of The Old Fire Station is warm, friendly and super interesting with the old pieces from firehouses. We would highly recommend! Huge thank you to Dave for helping with the reservation, making our evening lovely and giving our little boy a wooden sword to leave with - he loves it!

I enjoyed the OFS hot pizza. The dough was decent, plenty of cheese, however something in the sauce was a bit too acidic. The service was friendly though really really slow. It took a long time to get the menu, order drinks and to get the bill. There was one girl serving the restaurant and 4 in the kitchen. Empty plates weren’t being collected, whilst the waitress was having a giggle with the kitchen staff. Really disappointing. Update: Friday 12th September around 8pm

Gusto Divino is a restaurant with delicious food and excellent service. The staff are very warm and welcoming, and the timing between courses is perfect. The menu has a great variety of Italian dishes to choose from, making it perfect for anyone. While the prices may be a bit on the expensive side, it's worth it for the quality of food you get.
We emailed to book for the next evening for 10 of us, booking confirmed within minutes! The food was phenomenal, I had chicken salad and really enjoyed it, they also did a special touch of adding ' happy birthday ' to my partners daughters dessert, overall an amazing evening, thank you all !

A lovely place to eat. Atmosphere was really nice. A good selection of drinks and food. We went mid week and they only had 2 staff on to cover a reasonably steady evening. So there was a small wait between the staff attending us. But when they did they were lovely, extremely helpful and never dismissive of it needs over others. A difficult task to do with little staff but they did a supreme job overall. Would go again.

Amazing food, great service. Dealt with allergens really well. Brilliant waitress listed what I could eat off the menu and also ways dishes could be adapted. Deep fried goats cheese tasted amazing. Aglio and lemon cheesecake also good.

Pasta good…..Pizza poor. Two of our group enjoyed their pasta meals. A gluten free menu was delivered to the table from the online booking details which was excellent service. However the other two of the group had pizza which were very poorly made. Hence the low score for food. I know I should have complained when asked if everything was ok, but I was there with my mum and step dad and didn’t want to make a fuss. I will work on this very English trait in the future! The pizzas were very soggy in the middle. I’m guessing that the pizza base wasn’t freshly made and was a bit hard to cut on the less soggy outer edges. I think you really need to work on the pizza making as they are the mainstay of any Italian restaurant. Perhaps use a proper pizza oven and make the base yourself? Please do what ever is needed to avoid the soggy middle…

I reserved a table here for me and my friends and although was the first time that we eat here the food was amazing the pesto pasta was delicious and my friend pizza looked so good that I couldn't not take a bite. Got my food delivered and it was amazing as always. Also got an extra free cookie with a thank you note 👍 thank you for always delivering amazing food I am a snobby subway eater due to I use to work in 2 stores and opened one of them as manager from day 1. This is the only store I have had great experience with each and every time. You all do a great job 👏

They added in self service tills with no create your own options. We had to order a set sub and just tell the staff that we wanted one thing removed. They still made it wrong, they just added the extra toppings we ordered no sauce or anything from the original selection. We told them it wasn’t right and they just slapped the missing things on top and didn’t even bother to reheat it. Terrible experience definitely won’t come back again. It’s a shame because this location is usually the nicest one close to us. Wasn’t worth the 20 minute drive.

Food and service extremely poor I'm a chef of many years. And have never been served such a cold meal. If it was probed, they would have seen it wasn't safe to ear. I ordered on just eat. And the driver took over 1 hour to deliver. I rang and spoke to the store. Advised numerous times that they would speak to the manager. Yet not heard anything. I've now alerted EHO for unsafe practices as I got food poisoning from this experience A young lady said that she would hand the phone over to her manager. When the other lady took over the call, was told that she would discuss with the manager and get back to me the folline day on 4/5 occasions without doing so. I will not be returning. The worst food and service I've ever received. And unsanitary Appalling Avoid at all costs. Gone completely down hill and I've made Subway head office know of the poor reviews and service.
Magichef A — Google review
2hrs & 30mins for it to be delivered. Not acceptable. Upon arrival, the food was barely warm and looked like the back end of a camel, no care taken to assemble the subs, no point trying to call the store as it cuts you off.
Kieran D — Google review
Food gone completely downhill (can't say buch about atmosphere as ordered on just eat but got multiple aspects of the orders wrong and their attempt to fix their mistakes was just as poor. Wedges are clearly done in the microwave as they were overcooked, mushy and hard at the same time and completely inedible. Staff on the phone wanted us off the phone as quick as possible and lied about what the order contained and didn't fully listen to all that was wrong either.
Ione M — Google review
Ordered on JustEat as a treat. Hadn't had a subway in years and definitely won't be again. It has gone downhill. Very overpriced for cold, bland, subpar food. Would have been better to have got a meal deal at morrisons. Firstly, nothing was labelled so it was tricky identifying the subs especially the veggie philly amongst the meat philly steak. Writing on the wrapper would have been helpful. They arrived cold and there was barely any filling in the subs and wraps. Sharing nachos only had a tiny bit of cheese and salsa on 3 nachos in the box. Not even an exaggeration. So it was basically an overpriced box of dry, bland doritos. Wedges were also cold plus mushy and tasteless. And not something you could dip into sauce because they were soft and soggy. Overall big disappointment, waste of money and wouldnt buy again.

We dined in on a Sunday for dinner and I must say, the restaurant was really clean. The women behind the counter had sprayed down all the chairs and tables and the floor had been swept. I thought the restaurant was closing soon but they informed me they were open until 8pm so it was just routine cleaning. The food was delicious, the service efficient and the manners of those serving polite and warm. What shocked me more was despite the Subway not having the most modern bathroom, the bathroom was flawless. There was no revolting odour or tissues scattered over the floor. Even the handryer top was dust free. This details make for a more pleasant dining experience because it gives the impression of a clean and orderly environment. We will definitely visit again. Credit is due to Subway Warminister's weekend staff.

Pizza delivery
If you're in the mood for a delicious pizza experience, look no further than Domino's Pizza - Warminster. This popular delivery and carryout chain offers an extensive menu featuring not just mouthwatering pizzas but also a variety of sides and dishes to satisfy any craving. After a long week, I found myself drawn to this inviting spot, tempted by the thought of their delectable dough paired with garlic sauce.
I visited the place recently and decided to try Domino’s. It turned out to be a really pleasant surprise. the pizza was tasty and much better than other places i tried. The staff were friendly and the service was fast. I’m glad I gave it a try, and I’ll definitely come back again

Just ordered a pizza from the Warminster branch. I rang the store, a lovely gentleman answered the phone and helped me find the best deal for myself, my partner and my little one. Delivery was fast, the driver greeted me with a lovely smile!

Domino’s Warminster have been really helpful in the pre planning of pizzas for our summer garden party. This is the second time we have used them for a big an event, and thanks to them it’ll be a brilliant day. We couldn’t have done it without them!

Really friendly staff. They are quick and efficient, nothing is too much trouble. Noticed how clean it was too. A lovely pizzeria.
Tanya T — Google review
Extremely poor service from the staff. We tried to order in store and it took over 20 minutes to get the order through. Both staff spoke very poor English and clearly didn't know how to use the computer to input the order. They are clearly too used to only receiving orders online and don't know how to take walk-in orders anymore. Food was ok when it finally arrived though.
PMangham — Google review
I called the store to order a delivery, the instores spoke politely and confidently the delivery driver was also super nice and we had a good chat, the order was made to perfection and was delivered in less than 15mins, would order again.

The Old Bell at Warminster is a historic 1483 coaching inn centrally located and offering relaxed rooms, a bar, and a restaurant. The Grade-listed Old Bell allegedly dates back to 1220 and features warm and colorful interiors with an animal and botanical theme. The hotel provides high-quality but accessible dishes served in the restaurant, as well as weekend disco nights. Guests can enjoy views from the garden and make use of amenities such as a banquet hall.
Staying here for three nights Cracking hotel, young lady on reception couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. First night I had the best Thai sweet and sour chicken that I’ve probably ever had. Room warm, clean and cleaned daily. The lovely man in charge of breakfast was really helpful re the location especially. Breakfast set us up for the day. We would definitely come here again Place full of history and only eight minutes from Longleat safari park

We've stopped at this pub for food twice now and have been delighted with it. Very tasty food with generous portions, a staggering selection on the menu with typical British pub grub and Thai and reasonably priced!! Great proper old british pub feel and lovely atmosphere sat in the well lit courtyard that has heaters. The young woman serving us was lovely, remembered us and looked after us well. Customer parking space to the rear of the building. We left looking forward to returning

A cosy, welcoming place to stay in the heart of Warminster- arrived after travelling all day to find delicious home made food and friendly staff who immediately sorted everything I needed. Breakfast was very good, serving until 0930 during the week, with a good choice of hot food, freshly prepared - The scrambled eggs were possibly the best I have had this year - not microwaved and full of flavour ! Beautiful courtyard, full of flowers and potted plants which create seating areas where you can have your own space ..

Room was great, food was also great… but the service received when asking for the bill… a £35 over charge which they said they’d take off and just put on rooms and asked for payment in the morning. Mistakes happen, but the attitude from the morning staff? Shocking and he shouldn’t be working in a customer facing role! I’d certainly avoid in future
Peter T — Google review
We visited this restaurant today and everything went wrong from the start. The parking spaces were full, so we had to reverse out through two narrow driveways with no option to turn around. We sat down in the cosy garden, ordered Thai food and then waited 1.5 hours. The place was busy at first, but soon most guests had finished their meals and left – while we were still waiting for ours. The service was chaotic and inefficient, with disappointed guests even going to the bar to order drinks themselves. Definitely not recommended.
Radka K — Google review
We stayed for a night through work. Very mixed experience indeed. My room key was provided but when I went to drop my bag the room hadn’t been made. The reaction of the woman who was running the shift was excellent and professional. A new room was soon allocated, drama everted. The food was fine, and speed and service was fine till we received the bill. Disappointingly it was very wrong with all the drinks orders doubled. The young man was quick to apologise and amend. However, some trust was now lost. The room I had was clean. The bed I personally found fairly uncomfortable. In the morning I dropped my bags in the car and when I returned 07:25hrs the front door was opened so I went in. A man was quite surprised by me and challenged me. I think I’d taken him by surprise, even though I was suited & booted. I explained I was from upstairs, implying staying at the hotel. He looked at me saying that no I was definitely downstairs. It was a classic situation where it wasn’t what he said it was how he said it. It was said in manner that was joking, but in a belittling way. I wasn’t too impressed but took a seat as he explained he wasn’t ready, I understood and had no issue. A colleague joined me and put his overnight bag down on a neighbouring table. The gentleman came over asking him to move it as they would be busy. Again, a valid thing to ask, but the manner in which it was said was quite unnecessarily prickly. Our boss then joined us and then it began to go to whole new level of poor service. The gentleman asked us for room numbers saying that he was confirming we’d paid. We explained it did, touched on the fact the pleasant young lady the night before has said she had laid a table for us. I won’t go through all the details but suffice to say he told me I hadn’t and then told us we had £35 outstanding from yesterdays bill. We explained we didn’t and it was all paid and pointed out being overcharged etc. The manner in which he spoke to us was so condescending. He then immediately told our boss not to get stroppy with him. Literally not, plus out of the blue, and unprovoked comment. My boss, had only said that it had been an error and had said he had all the receipts ver calmly. It then did Esculated as we were all in disbelief how this guy was conducting himself. We were a team of retail managers each running teams, and dealing with businesses that turn over millions, plus our regional manager. We know what good looks like. Equally we stay away on business a reasonable amount. The gentleman has seemed to make an odd choice as hospitality seems not to be his thing. Genuinely it felt like this was potentially my worst hotel experience in my 55 years. Appalling experience. The lady the night before excellent all issues were dealt with professionally. Please give her a raise, make her a shift manager or something. Yes this is a rant. I cannot believe we will be the only people to experience this gentleman manner.
Darryl A — Google review
Ten minutes away from Longleat, situated on the highstreet with easy access to convenient shops. Parking included down a small side street immediately next to the pub. Rooms are comfortable, include a bathroom, tv, WiFi and coffee set up. Complementary cookies! Staff could not be any more accommodating and friendly. Live music Thursday night which we couldn't hear at all from our room. The pub itself is spectacularly old and is a wonderful unique experience to enjoy. A vast menu of food and drink at the £20-30 range for a meal. Ample breakfast highly recommended!
Draiton B — Google review
Went there a few weeks ago for a dinner with my partner. The staff were very understanding and kind to our table and our food was quick and very nice! However, there was a female manager who tried to take our drinks away too early and when we told her we weren't finished she simply dumped them in another glass and walked off. Would recommend beyond that incident though!!

Day 3

Proximity is everything
For day 3, we bundled attractions like The Ginger Piggery & Ginny’s Cafe and Smallbrook Meadows Nature Reserve and other places within a close range, so that the time it takes to travel between all of them is less than one hour. Combined with the average time people spend there, your day should take about 7 hours.

Such a fabulous cafe and food stop in the most perfect location of the countryside. The Ginger Piggery and Ginny’s Cafe are the perfect combination. I was on a long cycle ride called an Audax and this venue was one of the Check Points. The staff were amazing, friendly and helpful, the food and drinks were delivered super quick and tasted fabulous. Such a wide choice of everything. Cakes, biscuits, hot food and snacks to take away. The outdoor seating with tables and umbrellas was perfect as it was a hot sunny day and being outdoors made a big difference from being sat indoors. Toilet facilities were excellent and very clean. I look forward to returning here and would like to say Thankyou to all the staff and team for a wonderful stop.

Amazing find, normally go to the cafe on the A36. Had an amazing breakfast, lots of lovely freshly cooked food, tea, bread and orange juice. There is seating inside and outside, the menu has some lovely options, I was really torn between the breakfast and the fish finger sandwiches!Really large car park that acomodated my camper can which is a big plus. Definitely on the list for a return visit.

An absolute little hidden gem off the A36! Sooo worth a drive to for a great lunch if your passing or even a very good coffee, some lovely gifts and good choice of dog treats I must say! Very friendly staff with a lovely welcome, clean and lovely fresh cooked food and cakes too! Can’t wait to go back soon.

Smallbrook Meadows Nature Reserve

Nature preserve
Smallbrook Meadows Nature Reserve is a 50-acre expanse located in Warminster, alongside the River Wylye and its tributary, the River Were. The reserve features disused water meadows that were once seasonally flooded for agricultural purposes, as well as wet woodland areas concentrated near the river. Additionally, visitors can explore a pond, marshy areas, shallow ditches used for irrigation, an old orchard, and clear rivers flowing over chalky soils.
I really enjoyed walking in this nature reserve. It's very relaxing and peaceful.

Lovely quiet walk. (Watch out for wet dogs off their leads though!). You may be rewarded with sights of heron, egret, kingfisher, trout, Miller's Thumb etc ... and in tributaries the American Crayfish which is slowly denuding them if life!

A really lovely, relaxing space. Great for exploring, dog walking and entertaining the kids with a bit of nature. It's very well kept (there's a local litter picking group that keep on top of it) and the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust do a great job maintaining the area.
Nicole C — Google review
Quite a busy pathway with dog walkers and not as big as I was expecting but still a lovely hidden gem for a little wander if you are visiting the park. The signage could be better at the end of the path but bear round to left and join next path way on the bend in road and it will take you back to the Park.

Ahoy there, mateys! Little Urchins Softplay is a thrilling and secure play center designed for kids to have an adventure-packed time. It features three separate soft play areas tailored for different age groups, with the highlight being a fantastic pirate ship. The facility is open 7 days a week, providing ample opportunities for children to explore and have fun while parents can relax. Visitors praise the reasonable admission cost and commend the cleanliness and safety of the play area.
My son and I spent 2 great hours here. It was nice and clean and my son had great time on the slides and in the ball pit. He love the pirate theme. Will go again.
Matthew C — Google review
Went here with my son for the first time recently and will definitely be going back! The value for money is really good. Admission does not cost a lot and encourages oneself to actually go up to the shop window to buy some food and drink. The play area was clean, safe and big enough for my son to spend an hour running around. The staff were friendly and productive, seen either serving it’s customers, cleaning or being friendly to the kids. Facility is located in the middle of an industrial estate, which does require you to keep your eyes open to find it, however I may have just missed all the signage. And the only other reason I have not given 5 stars is because I don’t think there is enough there yet to stay for more than an hour.
Charlie W — Google review
Nice soft play to take the kids and friendly staff. Only downside is it is quite cool in the winter months so it is cool inside. This doesn't put me off though, just be sure to pack a jumper for the adults not running about!
Ed M — Google review
Lovely soft play, not too big and not too small, food is good too for the price. Lots of tables to sit at. Only given 4 stars as the locks on the toilets don't work, and it's abit chilly as the heating isn't on.
Rebbecca S — Google review
Fairly priced, very reasonable food choices, clean, lots to do with a great selection of imagination toys and sometimes activities. Well run and most importantly fun for the small humans who get to let off steam!
Clare C — Google review
Fine enough as a soft play centre for children, a fair array of things to do (though much is looking somewhat tired). Let down by there being miserable people in charge and a lack of consistency. For instance, having a one year in the 'baby' area to then be bluntly told it is only for babies (there were none in the place at the time, and no signage as to what they define as a baby in terms of age), but not having that same level of discipline regarding the 1-4 only section whereby child was sent flying by someone clearly over six at least. Poor. -Update- In reply to the owner's response: I am not upset at being asked to remove my child from the area per se, more in the manner in which we were 'asked', which as I stated in the letter I left for you (which has been ignored) we felt was unduly rude and passive aggressive. I do feel that a clear policy should be displayed on the premises as not everyone has time to consult social media before they go somewhere - the very fact that your own Facebook post states that You believe it to be clear, yet states '12 months-ish' is seemingly indicative that there have been plenty of instance where people haven't found it clear. It also ignores generally accepted guidance that children up to 2 can be classed as babies. With regard to things being 'tired', I would draw your attention to the fading on items within the 'baby area' and the state of some of the toys by the Wendy house. I also note that you have ignored the main crux of my complaint, that being the lack of consistency in the selective policing of the age specified areas - I can only assume that you realise this to be an issue and intend to do something to rectify it. My thanks for the offer to go elsewhere, we and our group of friends will do just that.
Dave H — Google review

This is the home of British made quality leather gloves. Wonderful staff. Here they also have a selection of well priced accessories such as belts and wallets. Unfortunately they have started to manufacture some lines in China so please beware if you are trying to purchase a British quality product, ensure you get the 'made in UK' modeks which are the best quality and a very sensible investment in gloves.

Have been loyal customers for years. Something definitely changed- last few time we ordered, delivery took ages, wrong dish was delivered and chicken was dry to the point of inedible. We won’t be returning

We enjoyed our takeaway. No problems ordering and pretty spot on with the times. Wish we'd had the Sunday special and ate in the restaurant. Maybe next time we are in the area. Very nice staff though, who made us feel very welcome. The Tikka Masala was lovely and had a great sauce to mop up with Naan. Decent portions and very good quality.

One of the staff member was very rude upon arrival and remained the same throughout. The food was average. The other staffs were nice and welcoming but one of them is rude and had a bad attitude. Wouldn’t go ever again just because of him.

Very standard stuff. Dhansak should be hot and sour but was just a bit bland. The staff are too keen to push extras and are not that welcoming, but overall a decent enough curry for Warminster
Jon M — Google review
Bit of a letdown. We've been eating at Nagas for a while and always found it really good. Haven't eaten there for a little while and it feels like something has changed. Pretty sure the prices are more expensive and the quality has dropped. I ordered a chicken Makhany that was nothing like as described and was in a really sweet artificial tasting sauce. We ordered two curries, rice and naan breads which came to about 40 quid! I'm sure I ordered more for less a few months ago. Really disappointed and probably won't be back.
Huw G — Google review
We ordered last night and ended up with some dodgy dish (absolutely no idea what it was) and keema rice that turned out to be yellow and in fact lemon rice. We tried to call them to sort the issue but they failed to answer and appear that they were closed. My partner went in today to resolve the issue, to be told they will do the keema rice for us now, but we should have brought back the lemon rice. Needless to say not really much we could have done with the rice now as it isn't last night when we had the rest of the £40 order. Rather than giving away dodgy freebies they should concentrate on getting orders correct, as it actually ruined the meal. The rice went in the bin and geninuely feel that the level of service needs improving. NEVER will they get my custom again

Chicken chow mien, sweet and sour chicken balls, chicken curry and egg fried rice. Food always fresh and cooked beautifully. The only thing that lets it down for me is the curry sauce. It’s just awful so I have to order a chicken curry instead which is slightly better but still not quite what you expect, the curry itself has too much onion and peppers for me personally. The noodles are perfect for me and can’t find them anywhere else that does them the authentic way. The chicken balls are very good but the sweet and sour sauce could be better. Overall I give 5 stars for quality, freshness and speedy delivery. The staff give good service and the food arrives hot.

2nd time ordering here since new to the area, and really impressed both times. The lady on the phone when placing the order was very nice and accommodating, and the delivery driver was also really nice. The food was lovely, the chips are amazing and crispy, the crispy chilli beef was amazing- I’ve found that other Chinese I’ve had it is more chewy than crispy, but this was perfect. Overall really good and happy to of found our go to Chinese restaurant first try.

Dining for 2 adults and 3 children was really expensive. We ordered some plain noodles and rice for the children, but they could hardly eat them as they were overcooked and slightly burnt. The waitress struggled to communicate in English, and she wasn’t wearing a proper restaurant uniform—just wrinkled everyday clothes. The restaurant décor was also very poor and uninviting.

Omg this is the best Chinese I have had in a long time!! Highly recommended. Forgot to take photos of the food at we pretty much inhaled it once it was on the table. We were staying at Hunters Moon and didn't want to cook. Opens at 5.30pm. Can eat in or have a delivery or takeout. We went in to order. Was very busy on the phone with delivery orders. Lady was very friendly.

Delicious, good quality food, the best satay chicken I've eaten. Decent portions and fairly priced. Broad menu to cover everyone's tastes. Will come again.

Cost of living has hit. Restaurant is so cold! Even the lady behind the counter has a body warmer on. Had a couple of takeaways now to give them a chance. Chicken dish was OK. Egg fried rice was so bland! As a restaurant I thought they may use soy sauce to actually give the rice taste. Waited 40 minutes for a 2 dish meal. Could probably do a good fake away nowadays 🤔

What a little gem this place is....we booked on Sunday night and when we got there it was extremely quite....looked at the menu and ordered our food. I have to say the starters came out well presented and hot. We ordered 3 currys and requested for 2 of them to be extra hot and again we were not disappointed the taste was excellant....chicken was succulent and prawns cooked to perfection. We will definitely go again if we are in the area

Ordered curry for collection. It was ready to go on time. Nicely packed and checked that all was there. Very pleasant front of house young man. Got home and was delighted. All the dishes were really delicious and plentiful and with their own different flavours. Can't wait to eat in the very smart clean restaurant.

Got to be the worse place I’ve ever been to. Got there, we were the only 8 people in the restaurant other than 2 people that came in 15/20 minutes after us. Took 20 minutes for drinks, then another 15 minutes for poppadoms. Then another 1 hour 35 minutes for mains. When asked how long it was going to be, waiter said on its way. In between this the manager asked us, to be patient as staff problems and the waiter could not speak very good English. This is when he went out on a delivery. When the food finally arrived it was lukewarm at best. Never an apology for the wait or how bad the service was. Will never return to this restaurant again. Everything needs to improve..

This restaurant is ok. It is very expensive for what you get. The food itself is ok but the portions are the problem. It was a nice experience and the staff were very friendly. I ordered a mixed tandoori platter. It was ok but the meat was not great and it was not worth the price. It would be nice for a change in spice and the interior could do with a spruce up. Finally this does not bother me but i would like to make it known that they are not licensed. Price information: Curry, Rice,Side and Water

Great food. We were on the way to Bristol and saw this restaurant and quickly decided to stop and eat after a long day in the beach. Great staff and delicious food. We tried chicken and lamb biryani and both were excellent. Will go again on our next trip.

Never tried Indian food in a restaurant before. But oh my god. Amazing... the service was very fast very friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant was very well presented and immaculately clean. What more can you ask for. Definitly will visit again. When I was speaking with the owner he said business was slow. But I don't understand how. So show this family run business some love after this pandemic if you can cause I know times are tough right now.

Fantastic restaurant, the service couldn't be any better! The staff were friendly, helpful and very accommodating with the young children. The food was served very quickly and we never had to wait for drinks. One of the best meals I've had in ages, the food was delicious and perfectly served, it's a shame I live 140 miles away or I'd be back every week!
