Points of Interest & Landmarks
Hoyo Soplador, also known as the blow hole, is a unique natural phenomenon located on the rocky shores of an island's south side. When strong waves hit the rocks, air is forced up through a hole in the coral, creating a geyser that shoots seawater high into the air. Visitors can experience this thrilling sight about once every minute and may get drenched if standing nearby.
Amazing opportunity to see waves coming and to see it blow through the hole! Grab a cocktail and enjoy the time. Decent gifts as well in the shops
Troy G — Google review
This should be a quick stop to see the blowhole. It's not a most see but pretty interesting. The locals will make you buy something like a drink to take a photo with the blowhole. If you wait long enough, you could see a pretty big explosion of the sea through the hole. It's cool, but be prepared to wait in a line for a photo.
Teddy O — Google review
Proceed at your own risk. I went there, and the natives said it was free, but they will insist and persist that you buy a drink!!! When i went there was no wind. It was just a hole. If you end up going to the hole, they get very mad if you don't buy anything!!! Our piña coladas were not good.
Catbec — Google review
Check the tide before coming and expect paying at least 20-30k per couple ITS NOT FREE even though they say it, they’ll charge anyway or you will not be allowed through, and after they secure your money then they will mention there was no wind/high tide The worst part is that the drinks taste worse than hand sanitizer
Gupi Z — Google review
The blowhole/s here most of the time are just a lil hohe in the rocks, nothing happens. Its supposed to be free, but the scamming locals in the area will rip you off for parking, try to charge you to see it and force you to buy something from them. They also get aggressive if you don't want to comply. Definitely not worth the hassle and unless it's big swells there is nothing to see anyway. My advice, avoid this area. It's not worth risking your safety. Very disappointing and frankly quite dangerous.
Dseu987 — Google review
Agree with other reviews. Not that impressive and vendors make you buy things from them. Basically a hole in the ground that the waves push water up through and didn’t when we were there. Implication seems they’ll mess with your car if you don’t buy things.
Alexander G — Google review
We were touring the island with our mule so we gave it a quick stop. You can park on the side of the road, so you don't need to pay or buy a drink for parking. As soon as you park there are very aggressive touts telling you that it is required to buy a drink to see the hole. This is a lie, it is open to the public. Just keep walking and walk through the many drink shops to get to it. We did start talking with one of the shop owners named Oscar who was not aggressively selling and was very nice. We ended up buying a drink from him. We visited at low tide with almost no wind (or waves) to make the water shoot through. You could still feel the warm air pushed up. It was actually a cool experience because we jumped in the water at the shoreline and swam up under the reef to the bottom of the hole. It was a cool alternative way to experience it.
Michael M — Google review
Stopped by for a bit and was rushed by vendors trying to sell their food or drinks to us. The waves weren’t that strong so not much to see or experience. Will try again in future and let you all know how it was.

Nature & Wildlife Areas
La Piscinita, also known as "the little pool," is a popular snorkeling site located on the western coast of the island. This natural swimming pool is nestled among rugged cliffs and offers crystal clear, calm waters that are teeming with tropical fish. The entrance fee is minimal but well worth it for the opportunity to swim in this naturally formed pool and observe the marine life in its shallow and warm environment.
I went 2 different times: The 1st time it was to swim and see the sunset. It has a perfect view of the sunset. Entrance is 10.000Pesos and they have a board to jump from sitting area and shade area. They don't charge you extra to sit or ve in the shade like most of the places in the island. There are drinks and very few snacks which have a regular price for the island. The service is top notch very friendly people. One of the few places of the island where I didnt feel pressured or taken advantage of. 2nd time to scooba dive. Paid 110.000pesos for about 30 mins of scooba and it was worth every penny. Countless species of fish of colours I've never seen and corals that look from and other planet that I never could have imagined. The dive instructor was dilligent and helpful. Again an honnest company who will give you the bedt service with the best price.
J — Google review
This place is amazing. Great view. It is a bit far from the center of the city, but if you take but to get there from the downtown, it takes around 40 minutes to arrive and it costs 3.600 Colombian pesos. The entrance to West view and piscinitas is 5.000 Colombian pesos per person. There you can dive and see a lot of marine fauna.
Jenny G — Google review
It's a small bar with plastic chairs and sunbeds, a lot of local people. They don't accept dollars for the entrance ( 3 doll per person) only card, but inside, you can not buy the drinks if u don't have pesos. You can enter the water by jumping 4m high, water slides, or metal staircases. Not recommend
Danijela M — Google review
La Piscinita is a great spot to spend a couple of hours enjoying the sea. The entrance fee is 10k per person, and honestly, 1 to 2 hours is plenty to enjoy what it offers. There are lounge chairs where you can relax between swims, plus diving boards and a slide that make it fun for both kids and adults. If you bring snorkeling gear, you can spot some small fish in the clear water, which is a nice bonus! It’s a simple place but well worth a visit for a refreshing dip and some light snorkeling in a relaxed environment.
Francisca C — Google review
Amazing experience! The water was fanatic, there were plenty of fish swimming with us while in the water. It can get a bit crowded at times though. A must to visit when in San Andrés.
Brian T — Google review
It was amazing, definitely not to be missed.
Wilson C — Google review
An excellent place to visit... behind to west view ecological and turistical park, is a place similar attended by native people and you don't have to pay the entrance, only to drink and eat something there
Nelson S — Google review
Beautiful clear blue waters and visible aquarium fish. Volcanic type rocks this so wear good water shoes. Much less crowded and calmer waters than Sprat bright which everyone seems to flock to.

Water park
Nature & Parks
Reefs
Eco Parque West View is a must-visit attraction in San Andres, Colombia. It's known for its crystal-clear waters and vibrant marine life, making it a natural aquarium that offers an incredible snorkeling experience. Situated on the west side of the island, this spot allows visitors to swim among colorful coral formations and various fish species. Unlike traditional beaches, West View is all about enjoying the clear water and excellent visibility for snorkeling and fish feeding.
It's a wonderful location for snorkeling, with cliff jumping and a pleasant waterfront area. There's a nice restaurant across the road for lunch. However, please be aware that the diving boards can be slippery, and there's coral and sea urchins in the water, so swim shoes are recommended. I would also suggest bringing your own snorkeling gear.
Teddy O — Google review
The most beautiful place in the island! You have great snorkeling here it’s quiet and there are 2 nice restaurants / places to sit. Definitely a good place for your afternoon-evening
Daniel S — Google review
Nice place, nice vines, nice swimming. Not the best place for snorkelling but overall it's good. Can find some food and drinks (also across the road) but don't expect a lot of convenience. Nice that you can also get some packed icecreams. The place can rent you gear for snorkelling which is great. I highly recommend it.
Simo C — Google review
Arrived by buggy (there is parking just across the road, next to the restaurant), around 10am and at that time there was plenty spots in the shade. Great spot for snorkel and we also used the slide and jumped from the platforms. We had a good time but not sure we would spend there all day. 5000 cop for lockers.
Annamária K — Google review
Absolutely loved. Well organized. Great views and clear water with lots of beautiful fish (good for snorkeling). There are two jumping platforms and a toboggan. You can also rent life jackets for a fair price. The restaurant's kitchen seems to be clean, but we did not take any chances to eat there. There is a nice restaurant across the road. To pay attention: there's no first-aid kit available at the facility. The EMS on the island is not well planned for minor injuries. As an open knee the we saw a woman being cared out there. Be aware of the rocks while swimming and going up the stairs.
Marcos A — Google review
Great experience. Lots of fish to swim with. Slide is fun. Come early as it's a small area and lots of people. Only 8000 pesos entrance and life vests are 5000 or 10000 depending on type. Take the "El Cove" bus from downtown for 4500 pesos each way... about 30 minute ride.
Dan B — Google review
The staff was not friendly at all, seemed like they would want to be anywhere but not there. They feed the fish with bread, so people can see them really close to the shore. We were there on a Sunday and it was full of people. The chairs were dirty and we had to go one by one in the water so our things will still be there when we return. They close at 5pm, so can’t stay for the sunset. Unfortunately, on that side of the island there aren’t many sandy beaches, so we gave it a try. For a swim it’s okay, as they have a leader, but not worth the money.
Larisa M — Google review
Great experience to spend the day in San Andrés. The best part for me was swimming with all the fish around, there were many! I loved it At the end of the safe area, you could see a stingray swimming touching the ground (I felt pretty safe, it was quite deep) The slide and the trampoline are also a great thing to experience! Note that if you don’t have swimming goggles, you’ll have to buy one there, they don’t rent it. We paid 45,000 COP (approximately 12 dollars at the time) and they have other options.

Morgan's Cave is a popular tourist attraction located in the southern part of San Andres. It is an underground cave with a pirate theme, featuring a replica ship and stalactites and stalagmites that create an impressive sight. The cave is said to be connected to the ocean and has been associated with the legendary privateer Henry Morgan, sparking interest in treasure hunting. While it may require some imagination to fully appreciate, it is often included as a stop on island tours.
Informative most of tour guides bilingual. Fun thing to do thats not at the beach

It's a great place to learn about Henry Morgan and his life, people there is very nice
Monica G — Google review
They tried to entertain the visitors and to justify the price of the entry, but to be honest, I think they forced things too much and the overall quality of everything was not good enough.
Juan A — Google review
It was ok, if you have the time do it, but if you are in crunch, I might skip it. Is all run by locals, so that's also a nice way to help out, and learn some history about the Island.
J B — Google review
It's not worth stopping and seeing only if you have young children would I consider.
Marlis N — Google review
Overpriced and not that great or interesting. Lot of mosquitos. I guess its fun for kids who like pirates but I didnt really enjoy. People working there are friendly though
Paula K — Google review
Terrible! This place is so bad I can’t believe people actually go here. Of course, I spent the $20,000 COP entry fee and joined the tour so I’m guilty of being a patron too. Unfortunately, I have nothing positive to say about this excursion - - AVOID IT! The people who work here are all very nice so I feel bad writing a negative review. But, I am simply being honest in my review of this terribly disappointing experience.
S G — Google review
Nice place to hear some old stories about the island past and legends about Morgan finely narrated by the locals, it is a quick visit and most of the stuff seems flase or newer but some interesting old stuff,. Good to contribute to the people living nearby

Rocky Cay is a small island off the coast of San Andres, offering a simple beach bar and clear waters perfect for snorkeling. The area is known for its wonderful beaches like Spratt Bight Beach, Johnny Cay Beach, and more. Visitors can relax, sunbathe, rent yachts for aquatic tours or enjoy water sports such as snorkeling and kayaking.
Beautiful beach, we enjoyed it much more than the main San Andres & Spratt Bright Playa. Gorgeous soft sand and calm waters perfect for swimming. Many boats offering trips to the Rocky Cay island but we did not do it.
M T — Google review
BEWARE OF DROWNING!!! My dad almost lost his life here!! Please, if you are not a confident swimmer, rent the damn lifejacket or pay for the boat. I came here with my whole family with the snorkel equipment, when coming back to the beach, the tide was high and we ended up in a deep area, then my dad got panicked and started to drown. Luckily, I was able to assist him and the rest of my family was able to reach to a shallow area (even though they don't swim well). This was a really traumatic experience that I wish no one else lives (I thought we would all die, seriously). It's very easy to underestimate the danger and because of being stingy we almost get a tragedy, so please be careful. The place itself is very beautiful, I would put more stars but I want to alert other tourists so they don't live what I did. Apparently there used to be a rope that would ease the walk but now it's not there anymore, plus there are no lifeguards or anyone to help. I am really concern about this place because of what I lived and how I saw other people almost drowning.
Steven A — Google review
Loved this beach. It was clean. Water temp very nice. Found a spot to leave our bags. No need to rent a bed. Public transport is not the best here
Marcela F — Google review
Be aware of scams. When you get there they will yell at you and say that "you can't be there". You're not allowed to hang around this little island without paying an extra fee for snorkeling or whatever they come up with
Daniel O — Google review
Great beach, good food, & great service
Thomas H — Google review
A great beach bar with a great restaurant. Would definately advise you to go to this place if you're on San Andres. Rocky Cay beach experience is one of the best in San Andres, the walking to Rocky Cay island is excellent and you could easily do it with your kids as well. This beach bar completes the chain and you could easily get a great day at the beach here. You got lokers for 5000COP (they ask for 15000COP but 10k is gurantee for your key), you got clean restrooms. Restaurant has good fresh products (have in mind that there is no clean water on this island except the one sold in stores). They will not charge you money for any kind of beach seating as long as you order. Tip: be sure after you order to ask them to give you a bracelet, otherwise you'll be asked to pay when you'll need to use the restrooms.
Dan I — Google review
Great place that's chill and not super crazy like Johnny Cay. You can also rent snorkeling gear from people or bring your own. Rocky Cay beach on the mainland is also quite nice.
Kaleb L — Google review
Beautiful place to head and cross. It’s an easy path in the ocean. You can rent snorkel equipment, lockers and there are restaurants and bars. The mainland beach is more tranquil and leas crowded than the main beach.

Restaurante Punta Sur is a must-visit for those craving Latin American seafood cuisine. Located at the southeastern tip of the island, it offers a picturesque Caribbean backdrop with a terrace resembling a ship's bow overlooking the sea. The restaurant's attention to detail is evident in its wooden and stone decorations. While there may not be vegetarian options, visitors can enjoy fresh and delicious seafood dishes like fish casserole.
Excellent restaurant. The view is amazing, right on the water and you watch the waves hit the shore from your table. Service was very friendly. Food was excellent. Would definitely return.

We have rented a Mule and got here doing the tour of the island. We stopped for some food and a beer. No vegetarian option, as usual, but they had some sides that my wife combined into a meal. I had the fish casserole (seafood chowder-like soup) and it was good.

Don’t trust the schedule written on google. It opens randomly. It might get there just like me a some open time to find the restaurant closed and the lady tell you that it’s not her problem and that I should have asked her (I am staying one hour away from there). Not worth your time.

Aqua Beach Club is a restaurant with a unique setting on the sea. It serves seafood and meat dishes, as well as vegetarian and vegan options. The restaurant has beautiful views of the ocean and it's open for lunch and brunch. Reservations are recommended, but there is usually seating available. It also has a full bar, so you can enjoy your meal to the fullest!
this is nicest place on the island in my opinion. Reasonably priced strong drinks around $5US. The food I tried was delicious $10 to $20 us. Clean bathrooms, friendly services, plenty of shaded areas with lounge chairs and a beautiful beach!

Great place with one of best drinks I had in Colombia, and amazing food. Especially recommend Ceviche and grilled octopus with chimichurri and balsamico - heaven in your mouth. Beach has white sand, in general perfect place to spend your holidays

Really disappointing experience. We ordered a dish and waited for over an hour for it to arrive. When I finally asked to cancel the order because of the long wait, the waitress refused and handled the situation very poorly. The customer service was extremely unprofessional and made the experience even worse. Definitely not coming back and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for good service.
Zeke S — Google review
All good with this beautiful place. Excellent customer services and very familiar environment. The only necessary thing in this place is having showers and wifi
Guillermo R — Google review
Absolutely the worst experience I have ever endured in my existence, on top of being ignored and waiting around for the hotel guest to be taken cared of first, the food comes out cold 2 times, the frustrated waiter grabs the plate and returns it pissed off like I’m supposed to eat a roasted lobster tail cold with cold rice and cold potatoes, when they asked how was the service I tell them the worst never in my life, you have one waiter for 16 tables and her response was oh yeah 4 people didn’t show up for work, wow ok so if you can’t operate because people didn’t show up for work then don’t open, I felt robbed, we went their bc my wife wanted to try another place other than Francesca’s but trust me don’t waste your money at this “beach club” it’s not a beach club it’s an over flow from the meager hotel that’s 2 blocks away. You’ve been warned.

Great place to spend several hours at the beach but super crowded on weekends. It's not ON the beach and there is another business in front on the sand but super easy access to the beach and you can have you own table for food and drinks for hours. Very safe with lockers available, good staff. We returned for a second day.

Booby Rock - Restaurante Bar Spa is a hidden gem that offers a variety of experiences. Whether you prefer sunbathing or seeking shade, there are ideal spots for both. The food here is exceptional, with dishes like fruta del pan with delicious shrimps and fish leaving a lasting impression.
A must stop while you are in San Andrés. It has some amazing views, the atmosphere is awesome. Had a Mariscada y camarones al ají, they were amazing. Their drinks were also very good . Great service and in all a great time.

Friendly staff , the Margharitas was amazing, beautiful view. The way they ask for gratuity isn’t the best and I think they could work on that a little , but still one of my favourite places in the island. Wish they took visa though

This place is fantastic and underestimated !! 😍 You can find a spot for a sunbathing or in a shadow. Also, there are beautiful locations to take a photo. You also can do snorkeling here (and use their masks if you don't have any). As for the food — wow!!! We were lucky to try fruta del pan here with amazing shrimps and fish! And the coconut was the most tasty from all we tried on the island! The service also was great — very fast and smiley ☺️🫶 The only thing — it would be nice if they fixed the water in the toilet

If you're looking for a delicious seafood meal, Donde Francesca should be your go-to choice. With both a full bar and outdoor seating, this restaurant is perfect for relaxing on the beach or enjoying live music in the evenings.
We had the best time while at Francesca restaurant. We had time to chill and our table was reserved on time (they hold reservation till 1pm) once we started ordering we felt more than welcome and loved by the staff. The food was incredible.. highly recommend the lobster and the tuna tartar, but everything was delicious. HUGE THANKS AND SHOUT OUT to our waiter Joleisha!! Extremely lovely, caring and made us feel really special! I wish all the people in the Island was as outstanding as her! Thanks!! You totally made our day❤️❤️

Food was good compared to what you find on the island. We had to wait around 1h during lunchtime to get a table. Food is fresh and is tasty! I recommend it for lunch. However as everywhere in San Andres the service has its flaws. We waited 1h for the main dishes after being seated as the waiters forgot about our food. Overall I recommend and would come back

Will not be back! NOT recommended for couples. This is the second time I’ve been here and have had to sit in a corner if we wanted to sit outside. All the outside tables are reserved for groups of 4 or more. The tables were half empty and there was no line. But we were refused seating in the outside area with a good view. Tables remained empty during our entire stay there. Food was nothing exceptional. Bland and without any flavor. I ordered shrimp this time and Salmon the last time and was not impressed with either.

The food at Donde Francesca was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. However, the service was extremely slow. From the moment we sat down, it took nearly two hours to receive our food. While we enjoyed the meal once it arrived, the long wait really took away from the overall experience. Hopefully, they can work on improving the speed of service, because the food is definitely worth it.

This is a nice place with a nice location, but as for the service and food quality very average. There is much better food to be had on the island. This is a good spot to grab drinks and enjoying the beach, but everything else is ehhh.

Beautiful View, Deeply Disappointing Experience Let's start with the positive: the restaurant's location and view are magnificent. Unfortunately, that's where the positive aspects of our visit ended. While Colombians are known for their warmth, our welcome from the host, Nidian, was incredibly unpleasant and set a negative tone for our entire meal. She showed no understanding of how to accommodate a family, seeming more concerned with staff rotation than the guest experience. The culinary experience was a major letdown. With one exception, the dishes were bland and poorly executed. Shrimp Rice & Arroz Caldoso: Both dishes were desperately in need of seasoning. They were watery and tasteless. Grilled Fish: Acceptable, but not memorable. Side Dishes: The coconut rice was flavorless, and the salad was minimal and appeared old. Garlic Octopus: This was the sole highlight of the meal—tender and well-seasoned. Beverages: The "natural" juices were disappointingly artificial, tasting of sugar more than fruit. For a final bill for 4 plates of over $400,000 COP, the value was simply not there. You are paying a premium for the view, while the food and service fall drastically short. We left feeling very disappointed.

Food is authentic, staff is nice and very acomodating, immediately in front of a beach which is probably the best on the island. The downside is way too many people and the loud and obnoxious music playing constantly. Either from the hut / bar next door or from people on the beach listening on loudspeakers.

Day 2

Northeast side of town
For day 2, we recommend exploring the northeast side side of town. Start the day off with La Regatta, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to Hotel Bahía Sardina. All together, your day would be filled with about 7 hours of non-stop fun.

Seafood restaurant
La Regatta is a vibrant restaurant located by the waterside in Colombia, known for its hearty comfort plates, seafood dishes, and cocktails. It's a favorite among many for special occasions due to its high-quality food and top-notch service. The restaurant offers an experience even before dining, with a colorful pier adorned with local art and relics of a pirate ship. The menu features upscale options like hot garlic crab claws, lobster tail in bechamel, and conch in coconut sauce.
You come to La Regatta for the seafood, ambiance and the vibes. Be prepared to wait for a table and get reservations in advance. Tables are situated right by the ocean. You have a beautiful breeze as you munch on delicious seafood. Fine dining options on the island are limited. However, La Regatta blows it out of the park. We got the seafood platter and the lobster. 10/10!!

I got in with my fam of 11 by reseving the day before and putting a 500k that were returned. Amazing views, professional service, and great food. As much as I respect the salmon, it wasn't for me. I wanted my salmon cooked medium,I even said I wanted it medium well but I was flatly told they don't do such thing. So when I got my salmon well done it was just not as tender or flavorful as I usually like it. The sauce was interesting but lacked flavor, and for having "teriyaki" in the description I sure didn't taste it or see it. The red coloring was also an interesting choice for covering the entire salmon, and the sauce turned into a jelly fastThe guacamole was a nice pairing, but could've been a bit more mature and soft. The cocktail I had was great, perhaps a bit too strong for my tasting, but well worth. Lobster was good and there is a wide selection of preparations for anyone. A drink my aunt had was a bit too watery compared to the cheaper and more fruitful drinks found on the beach. The view of the ocean is beautiful but don't be surprised to be surrounded by a lot of yachts. The service was as said, professional, fast, and efficient. I wouldn't have minded some more cheerfulness or welcoming vibes, but hey, she was fast, accurate, and efficient. I think that the restaurant is well worth if affordable, as the atmosphere is unique and the menu is vast and specialized. PS: celebrating birthdays in this restaurant would be a good option, but it's also small drawback because don't be surprised to be hearing a lot of birthday singing.

The food was truly amazing—each dish offered a unique blend of classic and modern flavors that stood out. The view, both during the day and in the evening, added to the overall ambiance and made the experience memorable. We enjoyed it so much, we went twice. However, the service left much to be desired. Despite the restaurant being nearly empty during our afternoon visit (only three tables occupied), it took an unusually long time to place our order and receive drinks. Be prepared to spend up to three hours here, even when it's not busy.

Wonderful place! The food is astonishingly delicious while space provides a magical atmosphere. Pay attention that you need a reservation to get in quickly (2-3 weeks in advance), otherwise you need to wait for non-reserved pool of the tables ~ 1 hour. I had only the impression that too many guests are served by too less staff, hence do not expect to be served quickly. All in all, worth all the money and time!
Dominik R — Google review
This place has great atmosphere and appeal. Right along the water and a cool breeze cooling you down for the humid weather. To start off, the wait to go in was about an hour from when we put our name on the list. We came since this spot was recommended. I'd say it was pretty underwhelming for the amount of money we spent. We had ceviche, 2 types of croquettes, tuna, lobster tails, conk and crab. Nothing was memorable or satisfying. Only redeeming factor was the portions for some of the mains were huge. Otherwise, I probably won't return.
K M — Google review
We ordered the Regatta lobsters and the Johnny Cay ceviche. The lobster was absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The ceviche, however, was a bit disappointing as it was served with a sauce that tasted like ketchup, which didn’t quite match our expectations. We arrived around 2:30 PM for a late lunch, and the place was full, creating a lively and pleasant atmosphere. For dessert, we tried the chocolate cake and maracuyá (passion fruit); it was outstanding, We also had a bottle of wine, which was surprisingly good and felt worth the price. The total bill came to 490,000 COP, but considering we had lobster and wine, it was reasonable. Would definitely recommend for a nice lunch or dinner by the sea.

Such a gorgeous restaurant, you must visit if you’re in San Andrés. The food was delicious, the atmosphere is one of a kind. The view where we sat down was spectacular. I loved peacefully seeing out to the ocean and felt that life sat still for a moment. The music is very mellow and goes well with the theme of the restaurant. It’s very colorful and the service is decent. The wait time for the food was slightly on the longer side but we didn’t mind.
Melodie — Google review
Food was good but not outstanding, some dishes we tried were a bit tasteless. Portions are good. Pina coladas are original and very tasty! Service was friendly and all was okay. The atmosphere with the lights and all is really nice. It is the most beautiful restaurant on the island (but that's not so hard as all the others do not really invest a lot in the appeal and renovation of the places). Overall it is too crowded and you sit very close to your neighbors.

Fast food restaurant
Beer Station in San Andrés is a popular spot offering American cuisine, fast food, and a bar. Located on Avenida Colombia 1a-16 Lc 102, it's known for its diverse menu featuring hamburgers, wings, ribs, chicken fingers, and hot dogs. The restaurant offers little tables for sharing where you can sample a variety of dishes. While the prices may seem high in Colombian pesos, they are quite affordable when compared to the euro.
It's basically a burger place with a limited menu and a large outdoor space that gets very busy. There is a variety of burgers available and a few other dish types. As far as the selection of beers go they do have a larger selection of beer than most however they do not offer any kind of craft beer really. Overall the burger was good and the service was good.
Steve D — Google review
I had one of my worst dining experiences at Beer Station - San Andrés. I visited the restaurant with a Spanish-speaking friend who clearly communicated my order: a hamburger with only lettuce and onion in the bun, without any additional toppings or sauces. When my order arrived, it had sauces inside the bun. I politely asked for a replacement, and while the waiter seemed friendly and assured me he would prepare a new one, I was disappointed to find that instead of making a fresh burger, they simply tried to wipe off the sauces and present it as new. Upon noticing the leftover sauces, I explained again that this was not what I had ordered. To make matters worse, the waitress never came over to acknowledge the mistake or apologize for the poor service. This experience was very frustrating and unprofessional. A restaurant should respect its customers’ requests and ensure food is prepared as ordered. I hope the management takes customer satisfaction more seriously in the future.

Ordered my food and drink with my brother. The menu says Philly Cheesesteak in English so it’s not a translation problem. drinks came really fast and then my brothers food came. After 15 minutes waiting for my food I asked the waitress where was my food order. She said that I didn’t order anything. I definitely ordered because I pointed to the item on the menu, even though I was speaking Spanish. My brother had already finished so we just left and I went hungry. servicio horrible

We sat to the left of the entrance, at thw wondows close to the other tv. Our waitress was not happy, pleasant or accommodating. The burgers weren't cooked well, the pollo pegchuga was over cooked, the drinks were awful. Let's hope we don't get food poisoning. I was under the impression they are not welcoming of tourists.

Outdoor Activities
Playa Spratt Bight is the most famous and bustling beach in San Andres, conveniently located in the heart of the city. Its calm, shallow waters and expansive sandy shores make it an ideal spot for swimming and leisurely sea activities such as kayaking, paddleboarding, and snorkeling. The beach is surrounded by shops, restaurants, and bars offering a lively atmosphere even after sunset.
Having been to other beaches in Colombia where I was constantly harassed by vendors this has been an amazing experience so far. I rented a tent and the sand is beautiful the water is clean and it's almost like bath water. No loud music or anything what others have said yes it could be a little bit crowded but really it's not a big deal.
Steve D — Google review
It is the main beach for a reason. Beautifully set up, you can enjoy a nice swim or snorkel. Then enjoy the promenade walk, grab an ice cream and enjoy the vibe of San Andres island. This place is special and I highly recommend it.
Simo C — Google review
Great beach right in the center of everything! There is plenty of shade or sun. You can rent a tent or umbrella for a fee, and you’ll get beachside food and drink service. There are occasional vendors walking through trying to sell you things but it is minimal. The water is crystal clear and the beach itself is very clean. Along the beach is a nice promenade with shops and restaurants. This beach is often very lively and busy, and many people bring speakers to listen to music and dance!

Beautiful and amazing beach! I'm totally in love! The color of the sand, the color of the water - absolutely amazing! A bit crowded and so many people asking every 5 second if you want coconut water or the African braids, but that's normal everywhere so let's say it's bearable.

The beech is amazing but San Andres administration lacks good administration like everywhere else in the island. They don't enforce not littering and no dog on the beech ( as they also have a sign posted) The sunrise is great to watch and water is a good water to enjoy and swim in. There are plenty restaurants and some coffee shop in walking distance.

Super clean beach with sun shades and chairs available for rent. The sea is nice and warm with clear water, so great for snorkelling. Beach vendors are friendly, and you can get a nice fried fish delivered directly to your beach spot. Safe area with beach patrols and life guards. Consumption of alcohol on the beach is permitted.

People have trashed this beach. We were distressed on our first morning in San Andres to walk out onto this beach and find it covered in trash. Straws, bottle caps, cans, wrappers, and many other types of trash were all about and mixed in the sand. I walked fearing that I would step on broken glass or cut my foot on a bottle cap. At the end of September there was also tons of Sargasso seaweed covering the beach and floating in the water too.

Hotel Bahía Sardina is a laid-back hotel offering airy rooms, some with beach views, and open-air dining. It's located on the beautiful Spratt Bight beach in the north of San Andres Island, making it perfect for a vacation. The hotel features an outdoor pool and modern rooms with free Wi-Fi. With its proximity to the main sites in the center and a restaurant on-site, guests can enjoy convenience without having to walk far.
Great experience. Highly recommend this hotel. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and tidy.

We stayed at the hotel for one night. Staff was nice, breakfast was okay, really close to the beach. They even have a nice jacuzzi on the roof. The problem was the room, we stayed in 310. There was a bad smell of mould which came from the air conditioner. Even the curtains had mould spots on them. The pricing of this hotel should definitely enable them to service their air conditioning...
Rolf C — Google review
This was my second time staying at Hotel Bahía Sardina. I had a wonderful experience the first time, so I returned with my sister hoping to share that same magic—but unfortunately, this visit was a disappointment. Upon arrival, I noticed the lobby and pool area floors were dirty, which was surprising and made me question the upkeep and staffing. One of the most frustrating moments was being charged 75,000 COP for breakfast for myself and my sister, even though breakfast was clearly included in my reservation. This should have been confirmed and clarified at check-in by the receptionist. I only noticed the mistake after reviewing my booking later, and by then it was too late. I felt taken advantage of. I also booked a tour through the hotel with a man named Clark, only to find out later that I could’ve gotten the same tour for a significantly lower price directly at the marina. I paid 75,000 COP, plus I included extra tip money for Clark and another man named Robert from Montetira Cardora, expecting that it would be fairly split between them. I believed I was supporting honest, helpful staff—but I now feel that my kindness was taken for granted. My advice to future travelers: double-check your bookings and don’t be afraid to explore other options for tours. I highly recommend visiting the marina near the Regatta Restaurant—there are many vendors offering tours at better prices, and it’s easy to compare. It’s disappointing to say this, but I don’t see myself returning to this hotel again. Trust and honesty are essential, and this time, they were missing.

Hot water for shower and from the bathroom sink, quiet place (i stayed in a room in the opposite side of the street, so I could sleep pretty well, and also because the windows are soundproof), very clean and refurbished (great!), they really care about the clients. It is in front of spratt beach (this beach is awesome!). Definitely would come back again! The only 2 problems I found are (1) that the air conditioning clicks continuously and this can be annoying for some persons; (2) and breakfast lacks variety of fruits and other foods.

First of all I have to say that the food here is outstanding. Every day is something different and it's always delicious. The only downside is that the dining are is really small. If you are here in on a busy week or day. You will have to wait for a table to eat on or seat with a stranger witch I don't know if it's a bad thing or a good thing. Another bad thing is that you can't serve the food by yourself. Someone will serve you the food and it can be a little bit enjoying if you like to eat a lot because you will have to stand up and go get more food every time you are finished. The bedrooms are really big and clean. We where two person and there was two king sise beds in the room. We where staying on the top floor (4th floor) with a viewer over the ocean and the beach. A beautiful thing to wake up on and see the celar blue sea. The only downside there is that the minibar is not free. There is water en soda and some pills for stomach or headaches that are way to over price. There are supermarkets way closer to the hotel that will sell you the same things for half the price. There is a safe locker that is free to use in the room witch is really useful. The pool is rally small, so if you are here on a busy week or day. It will be hard to find somewhere to sit next to the pool. The good thing is that the ocean is five steps away from the hotel. So if the pool is full you will have some options. The bar next to the pool is also very small, but it will get you drunk if that's what you are after or get you the drink you need with out problems. Last but not least the staff is really helpful and kind. They where there for anything we needed or wanted help with. The wifi was really bad we could not use it on the 4th floor, only at the lobby next to the recepción or at the bar next to the pool. I would give this hotel 4 out of 5 stars the five days we where staying here. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Hamburguesas El Corral is a popular burger chain in Colombia that constantly evolves its menu to cater to new and demanding clientele. Nice place! Nice view, good food and prices are not that bad. Staff were attentive except for a guy who spent time singing and only gave me the food options. Then I had to stand up and go there to ask staff for a better table, wifi password and for them to take my order. Other staff were very helpful, but this man I am talking about just left me hanging and did not do anything positive for me.

This is honestly one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had in years. The server was a complete knob. No idea what his problem was but he clearly had a chip on his shoulder. The food was mediocre at best. Far from good Peruvian food. But seriously, even if the food was good, I'd still give a 1 star for the attitude of the waiter. And then he had the nerve to ask if we'll include a tip on the check, which I begrudgingly did. This is a tourist trap with a view. Save your money and time and go elsewhere.

The worst place I've been in San Andrés, they took 60 minutes to bring the food and then it wasn't what we asked for. We ordered three plates and after all this waiting time, they brought two of them and said they didn't have the other, just like that. Es un lugar costoso, con lo cual no habría problema si la comida valiera la pena. Pero sus platos de 76.000 pesos parecen de 15.000. El arroz de camarones ($47.000) trae literalmente cuatro camarones, una estafa.

My wife, her sister, my mother, and myself were recommended Miss Celia by our hotel. We had finally arrived at our last stop in Colombia and were excited about how good the fish might be in a tropical destination. We were seated by our host at 12:45. We ordered shortly after, and thus began a long hour and a half of stomach growling, twiddling fingers, and letdown after letdown as we saw what we thought might be our food being carried to other parties that had arrived AFTER us. By 1:45 we were scratching our heads. Had our order been misplaced? Did our server forget us? Why so long for a dish so simple? At around 2:10, my wife went to tell the owner that if our food wasn’t at the table within five minutes, we would simply take the check for the drinks we had ordered and leave. Surely enough, five minutes later here comes our food out of the kitchen. I was excited. Maybe I’d be enjoying a delicacy! That might be the reason it’d taken so long! Upon first bite, we were all thoroughly disappointed. Three of our fish dishes were lukewarm, bordering on cold (save for my wife’s which was decent). The coco rice was mushy, clearly made by someone who was either lazy that day or doesn’t know how to make rice. We sent our food back and it returned five minutes later with only marginal improvement in the temperature. To make matters worse, the fish simply wasn’t prepared well. I ordered grilled fish, but it had clearly been tossed in copious amounts of flour to prevent it from sticking to the pan making it more akin to fried fish than the grilled fish it was advertised as. We were so hungry by this point (2:20) that we simply hung our heads and scarfed it all down. We immediately went to the front to pay as we didn’t want to spend any more time in a place that provided quite literally service from hell. The owner (presumably Miss Celia) was uncouth, unsympathetic, and apathetic in regards to the extremely poor service we had received. Even our waiter who happened to be at the checkout counter while we were talking with the owner indicated to her that “no service” (tip) was required. At this point the owner showed her true colors, becoming completely disrespectful by remarking, “they’re gringos, and because they’re gringos they should tip.” This behavior is unacceptable for any person, let alone a business owner aiming to provide quality customer service. Tips are EARNED, NOT AUTOMATIC. She behaved like a child in this moment, essentially ensuring in our minds that: 1. we would never come back 2. her “business” was merely a tourist trap, devoid of any originality, quality, and most importantly, respect. Insulting customers is a seriously amateur move, and it was all the more telling that HER OWN STAFF MEMBER took our side. We will never be back to Miss Celia and we highly advise you steer clear. This was easily, by far, the worst dining experience of my life.

We had fantastic service and very good food. The Miss Celia meal is perfect for sharing and that makes the price just right too. Cute decor with lots of fans inside and an option for outdoor seating.

Peruvian restaurant
Perú Wok - San Andrés offers a unique Peruvian culinary experience with a stunning sun terrace overlooking the endless sea and views of Johnny Cay. The restaurant serves delicious ceviche with mango and avocado, as well as other seafood dishes like rice and wok. Guests can enjoy good music at a pleasant volume while dining right by the water. Although the service could be improved, the quick food preparation and flavorful dishes make it worth a visit.
Do yourself a favor and come here for dinner, the food is amazing and so is the service. I had the sirloin risotto and my bf had the seafood and land plate . It was delicious. One of my favourite spots on the island. We are so happy we came here.

Incredible experience from the starter to the dessert. My wife and I were very impressed and this was one of the best dinners we had on the island and there is a lot of good food here. Thank you Perú Wok!
Trey J — Google review
A poor restaurant, not recommended at all. We arrived there since it had a good review on Google. It turned out to be a total and complete disappointment. We ordered pisco sour, which should be a hit on a Peruvian restaurant, and it was barely drinkable. Drinks arrived after we had our first course. Plates were not well executed, and we received a nearly burned grill dish, which was not good at all. Pretty expensive for what we ate.
Paula M — Google review
Absolutely the best seafood dinner I’ve ever had. The service was great and the atmosphere by the sea was beautiful.
Scott H — Google review
The food came luke warm, even though the place was empty, empty as in it was just me and my partner. The food could have been better if it came hot . The rice was def cooked either the day before as it had that ready to be used for fried rice taste and texture. The wait staff was ok, the limonada natural was lacking. Would not repeat and it was "just a meal" not a place to put on the list of "can't wait to get back there again".
T B — Google review
The place is very well located overlooking the ocean and the food is actually good with the exception of the Causa (which was terrible) but the Ceviche, the Pasta and the stir fry were very good and the cinnamon desert was excellent. The big problem we had was service. All the waiter were in a bad mood with an atitude as if we were bothering them for being there and service was super slow. The starters took 45 minutes to come and the main dishes close to one hour and a half. I would not come back

Yesrerday we walked to restaurant around 12.30 pm. Staff told us restaurant opens at 2pm. Today we walked to restaurant again at 6pm...we looked nobody then asked if restaurant still open? Staff said yes with friendly and invited us to terrace then we saw ... there is a couple sitting. If look outside you may think the restaurant close...because people here having late dinner. Food are nice and taste very good. Fresh seafood. Price is reasonable. And nice view. About 7 or 7.30 pm there are more customers at terrace.

We went to Perú Wok for dinner after reading great reviews. Sad to say we had a terrible experience and couldn't wait to leave. When we arrived the door sign said closed but they were open. When we entered, one of the staff sat us and was very grumpy. Our waitress did not smile once and made us feel like we were bothering her just by being there. She and the other waitresses were so unpleasant and had zero interest in helping their customers have a good time. Then there's the food.... WAY overpriced and not great quality. Very disappointing to say the least. I'll add that the ambiance is not great either.. the walls are dirty and there was no toilet paper in the bathroom, there were chairs stacked on top of tables. We were really looking forward to having a good time here. I hope this review encourages the management to make improvements in quality and service.

Capitán Mandy is a mid-range seafood restaurant located in San Andres Island, Colombia. It is known for its delicious Caribbean and Latin cuisine, offering a cozy atmosphere and exceptional service. The menu features recommended dishes such as fried fish and seafood. While the restaurant mainly focuses on seafood, it also offers limited vegetarian options like vegetarian rice and pasta with garlic and veggies. Visitors have praised the quality of the dishes considering the restaurant's specialty in seafood.
Best best best place to eat seafood in San Andres! The whole fish was delicious. I really wanted to order a second one! Please visit this place! It's walking distance from the touristy area but it's worth the walk! Or you can take a taxi too! Love the food in here. Can't wait to go back!
Amelis K — Google review
OMG the best food by far on the whole island ! It is a shame I discovered this place on my last day, I would have gone everyday to try out all their dishes. I had the Estrella de pulpo, it was sooo well cooked and tender, the best I ever had in my whole life ! Also the coconut rice was DELICIOUS. Plus, they have a wine selection...the white wine with this dish was just paradise. Pricing and portions are good compared to other places, fancy or not. Friendly service too. It is well worth the walk from the centro. Not to be missed!!!

I had chicken pasta with cream sauce and my wife had the octopus. My dish was tasty but not enough sauce for my preference. I'm a Gringo though, so I've come to expect that in Colombia 🇨🇴. They just don't typically like their dishes with much sauce. My wife had the octopus 🐙 and it was AMAZING. It was shockingly very tender with good flavor and not chewy at all. The best we've ever had anywhere. Service was quick and friendly. We had planned on going to a different restaurant, but It was a HOT day outside and they have A/C, so we decided at the last moment to eat there. The restaurant is also nicely decorated and clean. Five stars for the atmosphere.

We recently had lunch from Captain Mandy, and it was fantastic! We ordered the salmon with lobster sauce and the shrimp with creamy garlic sauce, and both dishes were packed with incredible flavor. The seafood was fresh, and the sauces elevated each dish perfectly. The portion sizes were generous, leaving us satisfied without being overly full. To top it off, the price for both meals was very affordable, making it an excellent value for such high-quality food. Highly recommend!
Catherine G — Google review
We ate here twice and enjoyed our meals immensely. The whole octopus was cooked beautifully. The seafood chowder reminded us of eastern Canadian chowders. Fish was beautiful. And the fried shrimp rice also delish definitely worth a visit
Lesley M — Google review
Nice restaurant specialised in seafood - however few vegetarian options available. We had vegetarian rice and pasta with garlic and veggies. I was nicely surprised by the quality of the dishes considering that the restaurant main attractive is seafood. Not many veggie options available in San Andres so I would definitely recommend this place and I would come back. Prices are good considering the quantity and quality.

Best meal we’ve had on the island hands down. We had a 2lbs fried red snapper, 2 coconut rice and plantain plates, one plate of fried shrimps, 2 glasses of wine and 1 coconut lemonade for a total of 70$ CAD. It was not only amazing but very affordable. To top it off, the service was great, Would a 100% recommend.
Karl M — Google review
Food was amazing, service was great too. Fresh fish, amazing ceviche, good octopus and great oriental rice with squid and others. Overall food was a lot better than many other restaurants in the island, and not expensive at all. I highly recommend it. Loved it!

Johnny Cay

(1349)
Beach
Johnny Cay is a charming little island that offers a perfect getaway for beach lovers. Visitors can enjoy the crystal-clear waters and powdery sand beaches while sipping on refreshing drinks like pina coladas. The island has multiple vendors offering food and drinks, with options to rent umbrellas and chairs for a comfortable beach day. English-speaking locals with a Caribbean accent add to the laid-back vibe, making it an ideal spot to spend the entire day relaxing by the sea.
A beautiful island that you need to travel by boat from San Andrés. Beaches are beautiful! White sand, palm trees, and clear blue ocean. If you plan to go into the water, bring some water shoes and a snorkel! You wont regret it. Just an FYI: You will come by boat and getting off the boat is definitely an experience because there is no dock. You jump or they help you off. I thought it was a fun experience, but to some, that might not be. They definitely have many stalls as you enter the island. Food and trinkets. If you have a good tour guide, which we did, they will give you a layout of dos and don'ts of the island. Yes, things will be more expensive on the island. If you want to use the bathroom, you have to pay for that as well. If you want to BBQ on the beach, you can do that. However, the small island offers beautiful sights if you want to explore a bit. There are blue lizards, iguanas just chilling, and beautiful sights if you are willing to look around. :)
Krystina N — Google review
First when we booked the trip, they said we are going to stop at 3 islands and go to 1 resort. In the end was 2 islands and no resorts. When they had to pick us up, they said 5pm but came at 4pm so we missed our boat i asked 3 different people eho were driving the boat if it is 5pm. In the end they just went away at 4pm without us. We had to pay another boat to take us home. Island It is not worth it. No privacy. Everything overcrowded. They put you on a boat and take you directly into a restaurant. They force drinks. Like it is just normal to come and go directly to a table and everything is already set for you to pay. and in the end they want to charge me double price. I took fish and 2 drinks and suddenly there is a coconut and commission and what not and I don't know what and it is 120.000 instead of 60.000. everything smells like a scam. Island is just an island, over commercialised. I've seen much better.
Jerko J — Google review
Lovely beach, with a big area to rest on the sand or simply walk and enjoy the green grass with the nature and the iguanas.

We really enjoyed our time on the island! Lots of food/drink options and the staff were very attentive! There was lots of space to lay out or grab an umbrella. It’s a great spot to spend the day drinking and laying on the beach.

Beautifull cay. If you come for food, drinks and sunbathing. However if you wanna enjoy pristine nature 4/10, weak and limited snorkeling, over run with drinks and food fixers, and over priced chair rentals. Tourist trap which is still worth visiting!!🏝️🐠🍹🥭🍌🦝🦎

Amazing island, 10/10 the best beach in the area! Would recommend spending all day here instead of continuing onto the aquarium. Food and drinks available with multiple vendors, recommend cash but some take card and charge a small fee accordingly. Gorgeous water, umbrellas and chairs available but show up early!

Rose Cay

(713)
Rose Cay is a popular spot that can be reached with a short swim or walk from Haynes Cay. Despite the crowds, visitors can still have an enjoyable experience. It's recommended to bring your own snorkeling gear and water shoes to fully appreciate the colorful marine life in the clear waters. Additionally, there's a resident nurse shark nearby for those interested in underwater photography. The area is not overly crowded as ships are kept at a good distance, allowing for a more peaceful atmosphere.
The main reason to visit San Andres Island. It is a must, it is the best place for snorkeling, the water is crystal clear, so you are able to see a lot of beautiful fishes.
Juan A — Google review
Too crowded , views ok but not worth it to go a tour , better just go by boat on your own
Guidecuador T — Google review
The water is GORGEOUS!! But the island itself really just didn’t appear to be well-maintained. A few basic hut looking structures but not much else. I was ready to leave the “island” almost as soon as we got there. Don’t have any pictures of the island itself. Sunrise was beautiful!!
Danielle A — Google review
It is a wonderful and beautiful place but the locals working there are aggressive and someone opened our locker that we had paid for to secure our bag, I would avoid bringing valuables so you don’t have to use their lockers because they open them without your permission
MA T — Google review
I’ve been really wanting to visit this place as I love snorkelling. However, after reading the reviews and seeing how crowded it gets, I feel very conflicted. It’s disheartening to see how some guides, who are meant to educate visitors on protecting marine life, allow practices that treat animals as entertainment props. Wildlife should never be handled for photo opportunities. Rays, for example, should be admired respectfully from a distance, not caught and passed around for amusement. It’s truly sad to witness this lack of care. I hope more people choose not to go to support these activities and instead become a voice for sea animals to let them live in peace, observed from afar and treated with the respect.
Florie L — Google review
It is very crowded but it is a nice spot to pass a day. We had some luck and saw a nurse shark which was a nice experience. I would recommend taking the tour directly from the main beach as they were cheaper from what we were offered at our hotel.

Visit through an on street seller/agency (paradise tours rye) These guys where extremely disorganised, even lost a document of ours that we left as a deposit of a cooler. Great long strech of white sand beach. Loads of shade to chill. Loads of options for food and drinks. Nice views of an inlet island with a ship wreck. Loads of jet skis and boats outside the swimming area. This must be the easiest enter/exit beach in the world. Soft sand, gentle waves, warm sea, no stones, no dirt. Excellent. Laguna Big Pond, situated in Barrio La Loma, is a large freshwater body measuring 400 x 150 meters and over 30 meters deep. The area is teeming with diverse flora and fauna including palms, mango trees, babillas, iguanas, turtles, and various bird species. Managed by a Rastafarian community, the pond is home to domesticated alligators that can be observed swimming near the shore when called.
Randomly saw this place on Google maps and Franklin gave us the best tour and told us more about the island than anyone! Definitely would go back to this sanctuary! Alligators and Iguanas and cool birds! Add this to your tour of the island! Only 5.000 COP!

Very nice place to visit in the middle of San Andres. Kaimans are very nice and interesting to see. Just pay attention to all the guides that want you to pay useless money to them for not showing you anything. You can do everything on your own and you don't need a guide. Amazing also the bar there and just chilling there smoking and drinking some beers. Entrance is about 10k if I remeber well.
Samuel V — Google review
This was a cool stop on my trip to San Andres. There was a Cayman who seemed to be very eager to eat some fish that were provided by the staff. Unfortunately, the path around the pond was closed due to rain. The whole area is very cool and has a great vibe. Also our guide spoke perfect English.

It's a chill little place that you can probably make an afternoon of. We hired a local guide and you do have to pay a small entrance fee to get in there is a bar or two here where you can buy drink and food. As far as I know there isn't much do here maybe a trail or two but it's very quiet and a unique place so if you have the time you can stop off for a visit
Steve D — Google review
Very cheap entry, community led guiding, a bar with kitchen. Guides were super friendly.
Miloš P — Google review
My friend suggested we check this out since this used to be a fresh water pond that people would use to smuggle animals through. It’s completely safe and the people working there are very kind. They speak English too so it’s convenient for those who struggle with Spanish. Entrance is 5mil ( Apr 2023 ). There’s drinks served there and they get the crocodile to come out. There’s a black line that goes around the pond which I’m assuming is for the crocodiles not to pass.

Wow, what a special place. Just 5000 COP per person entry gets you a tour of the peaceful lake surrounded by caymans, wild horses and native birds. Our guide was wonderful and pointed out the various local plants while his dog followed along. He also picked off mangoes straight off the trees for us to eat, and they were absolutely delicious. Cannot recommend stopping here enough; it was a little slice of calm paradise in busy San Andres.

Visited while exploring the area by scooter — a very beautiful and peaceful beach. The road leading to the beach is very scenic, which makes the ride there just as enjoyable as the stop itself.

It’s the definition of “THE BEST PLACE TO BE”. The decor is the most beautiful of all the beach restaurants in the island. The ambiente of the place is very nice but its a too high price for what you get. They even ask you for volunteer tip although you pay 60.000 cop just to be there. It would be ok if the service is perfect but half of the menu was not available and we were not informed that some ingredients in a dish were not available, so they just prepared it without guacamole. The waiter was not able to explain and compensate for this. I think there are better place on San Andres.

This is a very cheap restaurant, food is fine, service was minimal as expected. I'm only giving it 3 stars because it's right next to the street and in front of a supermarket (it's called The Parking Lot for a reason) and there's a lot of traffic on the street so you get a lot of scooters racing by while you're eating. A lot of fumes involved, not really pleasant. Other than that I saw a roach crawling by the wall, and the place isn't really fancy at all, but I really don't think it ever intended to be. If you want a cheap meal this is it.

Restaurant
Fisherman Place is a small, local beachside restaurant in San Andres Town that features fresh seafood. It's owned and operated by locals and can get busy, so be prepared to wait. The lobster is especially popular here and the view is fantastic.
This is the place to be if you want to have the most fresh fish in the island. You can choose your own fish from what they caught on the day. People are super friendly here and most are locals. They speak English! Highly recommend!

James, our waiter was the best and spoke English. The shrimp and rice plate were excellent, considering they were bagged shrimp. Shrimp is not fished locally any longer. If you don't have cash to tip the waiter, they can't add it to your bill. So, make sure you carry cash. No air-conditioned folks, but it's breezy and has a great ocean front scenary.

I had the shrimp rice. It was okay but a little bland. The service was good. The waitress was helpful, especially with the language, since we don’t speak or read Spanish. The price was a bit higher than what we usually spend, but that was fine. The restaurant is right on the beach and has a beautiful view.

This Restaurant don't even deserve one star. Very bad food, dangerous waitresses. They don't have the food that they show in the menu, I ask for a seafood plate with tostones like the picture of the menu and the waitress brought fruto de pan, something that is not close to tostones and the waitresses olmost hit me because I wanted tostones, he refused to changed. And nobody did anything about it. This people don't know anything about customer service.

If you want to enjoy fresh and delicious fish in a typical place you should visit the fisherman place. You can see the fishermen from this place and you'll feel the island vibes while you enjoy a fantastic view and delicious flavors that will transport you to another place. They have an amazing staff that will make you feel like home. Super recommended 😍

They only had swordfish, it didn't taste fresh, yuck! Very dirty place.
Dan L — Google review
The place is currently open between 12:00 - 15:00, but you'll need to get there early to get a table. Getting there late may also result in fewer menu choices. The fish is fresh and tasty, and the plates are big and full. The prices are moderate for the island.

Great food. I thought it would be a lot cheaper than la regatta but not much difference.

Lydia is a small and authentic restaurant located on the sea-side in San Francisco. The menu consists of one main dish of the day with a couple of beverage selections, all served in an informal setting. The food was delicious, though we waited nearly two hours for it to be served.
Local and authentic island place to taste different and local food. Prices are a bit higher than menú del día but the portions are big. One plate is nearly 50.000 COP. We took a big crab soup and a full fried fish for 2 and it was too much. So I would say doe a normal eater you can just have a single plate and share. Recommended to have crab and fish. It is like eating the things that local ladies sell in the street but properly. The staff is very nice and you can pay with card without any comisision.

Local food with the best service. They are sweet and as fast as you want.

Amazing food and we had a lovely service. It can be indeed a bit busy, however we found a nice spot quite soon. Also our waiter was so lovely to explain all the traditional food.
Djordan P — Google review
Good place to try traditional food. Not a lot of options to be honest, and no vegetarian ones besides the side orders. Staff was a bit irritated.
Ivan K — Google review
Don't know if food is any good been here well over an hour. You have to fight for a table as no one assists with seating. You order food at counter. They were out of most everything. Food just being delivered. Didn't have what we ordered so brought something else

We had some ridiculously good crab soup here which it's known for and we were not disappointed. Local spot which fills up quickly and have other delicious foods as well. Lunch time is their busied times.

This place has damn good food, especially for the price. Think they are open Saturday-Monday. Drive past it once and you might see one table sat, drive past 15 minutes later and its full. Whole fried fish was great, coconut rice was best I have had on the island. The slaw is GREAT, comes topped with an orange colored sauce that is amazing. They provide a jar of peppers in vinegar which was a great little addition on the slaw and fish. Fried Breadfruit was also best I have ever had. Almost a soft pretzel taste/aroma to them, very very tasty. Highly recommended.

Great place to try local food. They have big portions and great flavours. Like every local restaurant sometimes it can be that they don't have everything on the menu as is seasonal, but they always have s great offer. Come early on a seasonal visit because at 3 the desserts where already sold out. It will also take some time to get everything, but this is normal.
