If you're after great coffee and a warm welcome head on in. They have brunch and dinner options too. I'll be heading back to make the most of a pizza to enjoy on the beach.
It was a great place once, since New owners very stroppy and rude used to go for coffees pies and food then lately stroppy owner made the place very uneasy and unfriendly to go and stop by. I walk an extra 20 minutes to the okitu pines store and helpful great and always happy to see you. Also awesome coffee and outside area to rest and enjoy the ocean view both Mandy and his wife are GREAT hosts..... for me the Wainui store has become a no go for good

Local posting board. Newspapers, espresso coffee. Complete deli items and food.

Vegetarian alert! want a Ponsonby Vege Pie? Before or after your amazing Wainui Beach experience surf into the wainui store & grab a ponsonby vege pie. Staff always smilingly helpful. I like to grab a cold one (pie that is) & heat up at home for dinner with mashed taties & perfect company
