We would definitely visit again! We had a campsite, fairly private, best fire pit with a selection of grills. While we didn’t stay in a cabin, they were quite cute. Bathroom facilities were clean, no details spared. Away from the village, yet still close. Staff was friendly, spoke English with us, and patient when we tried in French, without the eye rolls - very much appreciated!
Lovely campground. Has cute little sites and is well kept. The playground was good for the little ones. They had wi fi as well.
Reservations are fully booked many days in advance, so schedule your camping trip a few weeks before if possible
I was able to find a single overnight tent site about a week before our trip, so in peak season, you need to plan soon.
2$ for 6 minutes of shower
no laundry
water
electricity on camp site
wifi available
2km from the beach, so take advantage of that
about 50$ for an overnight tent site

Avoid peak times like Labour Day weekend for a quieter camping experience
Arrive before check-in time to ensure smooth entry as late arrivals may face challenges
Free parking is available at the Dunes for those looking to explore the area without additional costs
Reviews
Domaine des Dunes offers a mix of experiences with some visitors praising the cleanliness and quality of facilities, friendly staff who are accommodating even in challenging situations, and a fantastic location near national parks. However, there were mixed reviews regarding campsite privacy and management issues that affected the overall experience for some guests.

Fantastic place to stay with your family in Tadoussac! We had a cottage with two bedrooms, full kitchen and bathroom, fireplace inside and fire pit outside, and stayed for 2 nights. The cottages were a great set-up and had lots of room for our family. We did not use the kitchen, but it was fully equipped. When we checked in the cottage was clean and tidy. Beds were comfortable. Water pressure in the bathroom was great. Bedding and towels were included. The site looked fully booked and yet it was very quiet at all times. The staff at the front desk were very friendly. There is a code to enter the site as well as a code on the door so it felt very secure. It was only a 2 minute drive from "downtown" Tadoussac. Also a quick drive to the sand dunes. I would definitely recommend this site for families looking to stay in Tadoussac for more than 1 night.
We had a problem on the way and had to arrive after 6 PM (the time they ask to check in before) and they denied us entry even though we had a reservation for 2 nights. We came back the night after and it was fine, but overall overpriced for what it is and not very helpful staff. Location is great though.
