Ok, this is not a 1/5 hotel, but clearly not a 4.x/5. I would say it is more like a 2-3, because:
- ALL the towels are dirty and they smell like vinegar. We had 3 apartments, 6 people. All of them had the same problem. The towels are dirty, and instead of the staff cleaning them at a high temperature (like 90 degrees) and with clor or so, they wash them with vinegar. All the towels smell like vinegar. If someone is wondering why we didn't ask on the reception for other towels, one of our rooms asked for that and they received changed towels, but still dirty.
- There is exactly the same thing also with the beddings. They were dirty and smelled bad.
- Now.. they are trying to fix this by changing the towels daily (a thing which i personally don't like, because I am not used to this. I want them to change the towels and do the bedding when i want that to happen (like hanging the "please make up my room" door handle), not on a daily basis. They threw my boxers (pijamas) on the ground in the second day, because they made the bed. Why? I don't know, no one asked them to do so).
- The pool is ok and cleaned, but the pool hours are a joke. The pool is opened only from 10 AM to 6 PM. Why? I have no idea. It would have been great to stay at the pool for example after coming back from the beach, while the girls were getting ready, to have a beer with your friends and stay in the water. But they close it at 6 PM. And no, they don't have any lifeguard or anything also during the day, that is not the case. And also, this is Ayia Napa, here the parties and noise is loud until way over midnight, so it can't be a case of "we don't want any noise after 6 PM", which would also be a st.pid idea, since, again 6 PM. So, if you go to Ayia Napa for the beaches during the day, the pool is ABSOLUTELY useless. For our stay (7 nights), we basically used the pool exactly once, at the day we arrived, since we arrived at about 3 PM and didn't want to go to a beach that day.
Other small problems, but still worth mentioning:
- the walls are dirty to say at least
- the sofa in the apartment had stains all over it (i don't wanna even know where those stains came from..)
- the "kitchen" and kitchen ustensiles were very dirty, unwashed knifes and forks.. (but we didn't chose the apartment for the kitchen, we chose it because of the extra space, and the couch). OK, it says on the wall to wash your dishes and ustensiles, but that doesn't mean that if the previous client didn't do that, you leave them in the same conditions for the new customers. This is outrageous.
Don't choose this unless you want a bad experience.

Later edit to answer the response added by the owner, because their response is not ok:
"All towels and sheets are cleaned by professional laundry company. It seems you trying to find something in whatever solution we gave. For example we offered you to changed daily the sheet and towels with brand new. and still you did not like this"
– This is 100% fake info. The towels you gave to one of the rooms after they requested new ones were again stained and smelled like vinegar ⇒ definitely not new.
– If all the towels and sheets are truly cleaned by a professional laundry company (which I highly doubt), then I strongly suggest you change that company.
It seems most of the rest of your response was about the pool. I don’t want to “meet your lifeguard,” but I also didn’t see him/her once while I was at the pool. I only mentioned the term in relation to the fact that:
– you don’t have a lifeguard present during the usual business hours (10:00–18:00), and
– because of that, you have to close the pool when their schedule ends.
That was the only reason. And if I remember correctly, there’s even a sign by the pool stating that you don’t have lifeguards and that it’s everyone’s own responsibility when they are near the pool.
As a last comment, what i want to specify is that i've spent about a quarter of my life through hotels in the last 3 years (because of my job) and this is by far my worst experience — at least in terms of “cleanliness.”
