I understand people have had quite negative experiences and I see where they are coming from. I admit that there may be problems with the rooms, noise, basicality of breakfast, etc. But! I cannot complain as I was quite okay with the rooms I was given (before and after a retreat I attended). I had soap, shampoo, hot water, nice clean towels and bedding. One of the rooms was windowless but no issues with that at all.
Breakfast was a bit basic but I appreciated it anyway. I also had great WiFi connection.
Staff was very helpful and friendly, I can't fault them.
Overall, I think I would be okay to return as having attended a retreat in the middle of the jungle I did not have much opposition against a basic hotel service/stay 🙂
Thank you very much 👍🙏
It’s a pretty nice hotel, super nice staff. Came t go t the jungle and didn’t wanna take all my luggage, they were super nice and allowed me t keep my luggage for a few days without no charge. The free breakfast is also really good . Overall great experience
Although located in a pretty central location, the rooms that I had (I stayed in two different rooms on two different occasions) were very dirty and had not been cleaned properly. Both times I had to ask for the cleaning service to come and attend to the toilet because there was xxxx in them. Really not ideal. The rooms are also very old with a lot of dust. However, the king size rooms come with plenty of space. Service in general was great and had friendly staff.

While some appreciated the cleanliness of their rooms, hot water, and friendly staff, others had negative experiences with room conditions, noise levels, and breakfast quality. Good hotel! Perfect except last min with taxi!
One bad front desk with Glasses
Food was amazing. Hotel with good AC and pool, breakfast was good too!
DO NOT ASK front desk to call taxi!!!!!
I repeat!
DO NOT ASK front desk to call taxi!!!!
Ruined our whole trip
The guy with glasses charged us 60 sols and took the money away!
And then the driver said only 40 sols
And the taxi took 20 mins to come
I repeat if you see the receptionist with glasses report him!
Also he took my taxi money away before me even getting on the taxi!
Report him if you see a glasses man short guy!
This guy ruined my whole experience with the hotel. Will not recommend to anymore if this guy is still around
The staff were very friendly, and it is in a good location. However, they confirmed that they would send a driver to pick me up from the airport and no driver showed up. I got a tuktuk, but not a great start. They did let me have early check-in when I arrived - perhaps being kind after the airport. But the room they gave me smelled awful - I suspected something at that stage as it smelled really chemically. And with no windows or natural light it felt really uncomfortable to be in there. My skin started to really itch after my nap, and then sure enough, when I woke in the night the room was crawling with ants everywhere. I then asked to move rooms. They moved me to another windowless room on the ground floor right by the bar. I asked if it would be noisy with the music from the bar and he insisted it wouldn't be. Sure enough at 6am loud music starts blasting from the bar and loud builders start banging and yelling outside the door. It was the least restful place to land before going on a retreat. By the evening I discovered that loud music goes on until 3am. My room had no towel or soap. The breakfast was sub standard. There is no hot water whatsoever and the wifi was very poor. I really sensed the staff were trying hard, and no doubt times have not been easy since the pandemic - but I don't think I would ever stay here again.
