Love chinos, great food, great people, great restaurant! Come see! Nuff said..
Had fried chicken. Roll. Fried okra. Creamed corn. And sweet tea with lemon. Hubby had country fried steak and gravy. Mashed potatoes with gravy. Mac and cheese. Cornbread muffin. And sweet tea with lemon. We also shared a dish of banana pudding. Fried chicken was crisp on the outside and tender inside. Fried okra was crunchy not soggy, I was worried about that. Creamed corn was sweet but not overly. Tea was excellent. Roll was soft. Fried steak was good. Mashed potatoes were good. Mac and cheese was really good. Cornbread not so much. Pudding was good. Only things I didn't like was waitress didn't ask if we wanted more tea and they didn't have a menu I could take with me. Manager was very friendly. Waitress was sweet.
We loved the food and service. Great southern cooking just like we like. Prices reasonable. Clean environment. We will be telling others about this place and recommending it to others.

Went today for first time. I ordered the grilled Chicken and 3 sides. Hubby got catfish fries & hush puppies. Chicken was thin and overcooked and was very small. (See pic). Couldn't eat it. Mac n cheese was tasteless. White beans were awful! Never got my 3rd side 😕 And food was cold. Hubby's fish was over cooked and hush puppies were not cooked all the way. Waitress got within 3 inches of my face to laugh about something. That was wrong. 😑
Brought wrong food first but fixed it. Then handed us flimsy plastic utensils that I couldn't even cut my chicken with. Waitress never came by to ask us how it was and when checking out they never asked how it was. Not worth $27.99
Won't be back 😔
A friend and I stopped in for lunch.
The menu gave a choice of meats and vegetables, catfish platter, sandwiches, and salads.
We wanted the fried chicken, but there was only the choice of white meat. My friend went ahead and ordered it. (Chichen was very dry and a little hard). I myself ordered a vegetable plate. The purple hull peas and white beans were great with a piece of fried cornbread. The fried Okra was a little overcooked. The mash potatoes and gravy were good. We also ordered cobbler to go. The cobbler had a good flavor, but was 90% dough 10% fruit filling.
The server was very efficient and helpful getting my handicap friend in and out of the building. Prices were within reason.
