Yum Yum Fusion

Being Singaporean, I was super excited to eat at this new place when they said they served Malaysian, Thai and Singaporean food but there was nothing Singaporean in it. Not an issue as Malaysian food is similar and really good but the shock we got when we ordered and tasted our meals is beyond words! Quite easily the worst food I've tasted in swan hill and the price is beyond ridiculous! $12 for just rice, garlic and fried onions which they tried to pass off as Thai Garlic Rice. The penang char Kway tweow was salty but that was the only one which had taste compared to all the other bland food we ordered to try - classics like nasi goreng Kampung, mamak mee goreng and pad Thai was sadly butchered and I'm still reeling from paying over $70 for those meals. I'm not one to waste food so it took a lot in me to really finish it. We had to send back the pad Thai which wasn't cooked properly (which they kindly redid) and the other meals were just peppery and dry if there was any taste at all. Definitely nothing like the Malaysian food that my family love and grew up with! I really hope it was just a bad day for them but if this is the standard they serve, they're lucky Google review doesn't offer options below 1 star ratings!
