I booked a room at Almazygo for one night before leaving Tarapoto. The communication with Patricia was easy and fast. I liked the spacious bedroom and the cozy atmosphere that made me feel at home after my long trip. I also appreciated that Patricia accepted me to leave my suitcase in her home while I was travelling.
Finally I can also highly recommend the food served a Almazygo which is prepared fresh on demand and with love.
Everyone looking for a home away from home and for a quieter spot in Tarapoto will enjoy staying at Almazygo.
To say Patricia is an excellent host would be an understatement. She knows post dieta exceptionally well and goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome as well as assist you in anything you need well outside the scope of her hosting and feeding (like finding me quality cigars or taking me to restaurants so I could get some meat even though she's a vegetarian). This is a beautiful private area and sanctuary worth staying at if you need to recover and integrate back into the world after the whole jungle experience.
The salad was so good!!!
Patricia is a very caring host and full of enthousiasme. The menu is simple but the elements of each dish can very easily be replaced or removed as Patricia understands we all have different desires and needs.

I dropped by spontaneously and got the most warm welcome from Patricia! There’s lots of love put in the place, the food, the atmosphere. The coffee and lunch were a real treat and relaxing retreat the vibrant Tarapoto! So a recommended hidden gem :)
Almazygo is a soul soothing oasis in Tarapoto. Beautiful rooms, delicious and healthy food (pre and post dieta as well). Patty is an angel, she truly shares her care and kindness throughout your stay.
