Delicious! We had a really great meal here tonight. The Mignon ao Gorgonzola (with nhoque de aipim) and the Nhoque de Batata Doce Vegetariano.
I forgot to take a picture of the dessert (Sorvete de Canela), so much I liked to start eating it. It had a very fine equilibrium of tastes.
The juices (sucos) were very tasteful.
The restaurant is in the street where most of the restaurants are, where the atmosphere is caribbean-like due to the low colorful houses. Tonight there was live music at about 50 meters away from the restaurant, which gave an optimum to enjoying the music (not too loud, but definitely adding to our overall experience).
The young waiter was very friendly and fortunately spoke some English, since our knowledge of Portuguese is quite minimal. We notice at many restaurants that it is very common to share a dish. Also here: we ordered one dessert, but it was delivered with two spoons. So my companion could also taste some of it (fortunately not too much 😉).
Very little cosy restaurant with nice welcoming staff , house cooking chefs , service speaks some English, delicious pastas , tastefull curry and good caipirinhas, full big glasses of wine, charming laid-back outside seats on a traffic-free pedestrian street with some background street music.
Really poor service. Half of the menu, they dont have It, and they tell you 20min after ordering.
Food ok

Visit during off-peak hours to avoid long waits for food that might not be available due to limited menu items
Consider sharing dishes as it's common practice at many restaurants in the area
Engage with friendly staff who speak some English for recommendations on must-try dishes like Sorvete de Canela or Caipirinhas
Make reservations if possible to secure a table both indoors for a quiet space or outdoors for people-watching

(Translated by Google) The plantain gnocchi is delicious. I highly recommend it.
The restaurant is located on the corner of the two busiest streets. You can watch the hustle and bustle of both streets while you eat that explosion of flavors.
Your taste buds had a party.
