I only came here for the drinks and amazing atmosphere, maybe I will have meal next time. Shackleton pictures from his heroic journey on the walls and you get the feeling that he and his crew were here just weeks ago. You can really feel this amazing story here at this bar and the museum in this building. A must see place in Punta Arenas.
Great setting and fantastic food, but the service really let it down. It took over 30 minutes to get drinks, Starters then arrived before our drinks, and then mains came out while we were still eating our starters. Clearly understaffed, which made the whole experience feel a bit chaotic. Shame, because the food itself was excellent.
Had dinner here and was very pleased. Ordered the seafood stir fry - which was a delicious stew-type of dish with wonderful seafood pieces. Setting was great as was the service - open glasshouse with the older grape vines I’ve seen.
I’ll be here again!

We are back for the second time today. To those who only had the drinks, yes do try the food. We had never had abalone raw or cooked but it was wonderful although that means tender but no taste fishy or otherwise :-) The empanada board is huge but they will let you order individual ones. I had the guanaco for novelty's sake and it just tasted like meat. The lamb tastes like lamb so you will like it or not. The abalone was served with a green sauce very much like a churrasco sauce which tasted really good on the empanadas. They would probably bring you some. Since we are relaxing I thought I would just write this review but we are now ordering that seafood appetizer to share. It will probably be excellent. If it isn't I will update :-) also try the various pisco sours. One of them is rhubarb which is quite odd tasting. Ask what's in it and you will recognize that word even in Spanish. The Peruvian one is just a different type of pisco alcohol. The remaining one is a fruit that is local and kind of citrusy I think. I drank it I just still not sure. They were all really good with the egg white spume on top.
