Cafe Juan Valdez is a beachside coffee shop with a good view, although some of it may be obstructed by trees. The staff are described as friendly but not particularly attentive, and the service is efficient. While there were some unavailable drink options during one visit, the overall experience was positive. The cafe accepts credit cards, which is convenient for many visitors. Additionally, there's praise for the quality of the coffee and the pleasant atmosphere next to the beach.
Why you should go

Enjoying high-quality coffee right next to the beach
Amazing place right next to the beach, lovely service and great product. Coffee is very good.
Horrible service, We went there at 8:30pm and they have an employee in the line saying it was close already. Closing time is at 9:00pm so they close 30 minutes earlier and they have just 2 customers in line. I visit the Island 3 times per year. I recommend Coffee Coffee and Casa Blanca hotel for good coffee and better service nearby
I asked for an extra cup for my very hot beverage and they flatly refused. Dont argue when customers are already paying overtly high prices for your product. Simple as that.
El servicio es lento y actitud es mala.

Visit earlier in the day to avoid any issues related to early closures
Be mindful of requesting specific preferences as they may not always be accommodated
Consider taking your drinks away from outdoor seating areas if birds are a concern

We ordered iced espressos on a hot San Andres day, and that was the highlight. The dirty pigeons landing on and walking around tables was totally gross. As soon as we got our drinks we were out of there. It was unfortunate because it was right on the beach and the atmosphere could have been nice except for the nasty dirty birds walking around the tables, flying through the coffee shop, and walking on the tables.
Horrible experience I would have a large cappuccino, I never got to find out the price because I asked to have 10 sugar light come also known as artificial sweetener and they would not give it to me, the employee were judge and jury and decided that 10 was too many for me, I like my coffee sweet and they usually use between 8 and 10 and a large cappuccino! The problem was not actually the employees fault, it was probably her superiors, whoever is full of what should be fired!!!
