Shout out to Leonardo and Bruna. The service is exceptionally good. The breakfast is a feast on its own. Great location in Ubatuba downtown, walking distance to great restaurants and 15 minutes drive from the best beaches.
I paid for a room with internet and I was really counting on being able to use that internet as I had to work online during the evenings. The hotel internet didn’t work in my room (room 25), but it did work on the ground floor. As a result, I had a moderate amount of inconvenience and lost some business. When I confronted the hotel staff about it (and even demonstrated the problem to one of them), at first they denied the problem and then they refused to compensate me for it in any way. Other than that problem (which was a big issue for me), everything else in the hotel was satisfactory.

I have been there about three times already, the hotel is simple and super comfortable. Its so close to the beach and the towns center (perfect to see the fireworks on New Year!). The parking lot is free and gated so the car is safe; there isn't a pool, but who needs one when the beach is right there? The hotel is run by the family that owns it, so the one to one relationship with the guest is very personal. Rooms are big and clean and the breakfast is very delicious and Brazilian!
Nice people. It is not fancy but it is nice and beautiful. It has what I need. Buffet breakfast, air conditioner, fan, good bed, clean. It was a fair price.
