They don't answer the phone. The human factor was excellent, I've no complaints regarding that.
My rating is because the small swimming pool right next to the main restaurant and bar, being all of them (swimming pool, restaurant and bar) extremely small for a hotel that hosts a whole casino admitting outsiders with complete access to every place I've mentioned except the pool. It's a privacy and size issue.
The phone in the room was dead, we were provided a WhatsApp local number to communicate with the front desk.
I'm proud to say, my kitten was the first feline to stay at that Hilton, they told me they had dogs staying but never a feline, we were congratulated for the behavior of my pet, who was completely silent during the whole stay, unlike the numerous kids under 10 years old running in swimming suits completely wet around the corridors.
The Room service rates and everything in it including food and beverages price is outdated, we thought we were paying an amount at the moment we ordered and we ended up paying an amount 4X higher than it was printed, with no explanation.
The hotel lacks of information signs, you carry yourself like a survival tv show, you arrive in your car and there's absolutely NOBODY to greet you, after you find out the wheres and hows, you arrive at the front desk carrying your own luggage, just to be given the card for the door and sent your way to it, by your own means. If you bring more than one suitcase, go fetch it from the car yourself.
It was an -ok overall experience, I learned afterwards through Google maps that the HGI is now a three -star hotel, unlike I believed, since the rates are exactly the same than the Sheraton at the same city, being that one, a five-star hotel.
Anyway, I waited a year for this visit to that Hilton. I really don't feel like visiting it again, I'm just being objective here.
