I really like this Ibis Budget Hotel in Iquique. Great location close to the boardwalk.Staff was friendly — I forgot the manager’s name but she had glasses and spoke English and fun to talk with.
Great location, well maintained rooms. TV, AC, wifi, hot shower worked. Only complaint of the room was the sink was horrible - sprays water everywhere because it comes out with full strength only. The breakfast was okay. Lobby area is a nice place to relax too. Very close to the beach.
Worst ibis experience ever!! Even though i am a foreigner, they asked me to pay 19% VAT which is applicable to only the Chilean Citizens. Would recommend others to stay away...

Noise from above kept me up all night. Staff refused to change rooms. Paid for late checkout, but my key kept deactivating—had to go to reception 4 times before they finally sent someone to let me in. Very frustrating.
Great hotel at a good price. Secure undercover parking for motorcycle. Highly recommended.
