Cute hotel, very good breakfast. It was our first day experience in Argentina and Salta and we enjoyed the stay. Each room has a wine name (We stayed in Merlot); cute antique vibe all around with beautifully creaking floors, courtyard, plants everywhere and we enjoyed the hot siesta time by the pool and the shade of the yard.
A beautiful place to stay. Lovely helpful staff, spotlessly clean throughout, delicious homemade breakfast with the added bonus of pretty garden and small swimming pool. And, of course, a welcome glass of Delvino wine! Perfecto!!
BE AWARE, BED BUGS!!!
We have stayed in Delvino Boutique Hotel for two nights, from 30.12.19 till 01.01.20. We really had a back luck, because we got a room with bed bugs.
After the first night the reaction to the bites of the bed bugs was not very intense, so my husband thought he was bitten by mosquitos.
On the second night he felt that something was biting him so we checked the bed and found the bed bugs. Immediately we reported this to the night porter and he gave us another room for the rest of the night.
In the morning, when we left the hotel, there was no one at the reception (it was a New Year´s day), so we even couldn´t complain.
At that time my husband already had a very bad reaction to all the bites so we had to go to the doctor, which was not easy to find. Due to inflated arm and finger my husband got an injection against the poisoning so we could continue our trip.
After three days we came back to the hotel to make a complaint. We showed the photos, they could have still seen the bites on my husband´s skin. Nobody spoke English so they simply ignored our complaint.
Later we wrote to the management and we got a very ignorant answer that the room-maid has checked the room and didn´t find anything, what means, that the management is not aware of seriousity of the problem with the bed bugs. Of course they should put the room out of order and let the special company to disinfect the room. Because of all this ignorance we are not sure, that this problem will be solved in the future.
We expected some compensation, but we just got an very ignorant answer that this is impossible for them.
