Good location and kind staff. The best thing about the hotel is its breakfast with its view to the busy street. But the rooms and bathrooms need renovation . The reception area is rather dark and a little more attention to cleanliness should be put. Perhaps they could include the cost of parking in the fare in exchange for these flaws.
I travel to different cities in the world once a month for business. This is definitively the worst hotel i have ever been in my life. I booked it through Expedia. I was suppose to stay there for 2 weeks. The first night, was quite an experience... Bugs and insects in the room and on the bed... there was no closet!! it was dirty.... it was like out of a terror movie... PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL.. THERE ARE OTHERS MUCH NICER IN TUCUMAN. When i tried to cancel, they refused... of course.
Good prices and good meals.

Consider requesting a renovated room if available to avoid potential issues with outdated facilities
If booking through third-party websites like Expedia, double-check cancellation policies before confirming your reservation
For those sensitive to cleanliness standards, it may be advisable to inquire about recent maintenance efforts or upgrades at check-in
Visit during off-peak seasons for potentially better rates and fewer crowds
Reviews
Hotel Carlos V in Tucuman has received mixed reviews from guests. While some appreciated the good location and kind staff, highlighting the breakfast with a view of the busy street as a standout feature, others were disappointed by the need for room and bathroom renovations, cleanliness issues, and lack of attention to detail. One guest had an extremely negative experience citing bugs in the room and poor cleanliness standards. However, positive comments included reasonable prices, friendly staff - particularly Federico who was praised for his helpfulness - and good meals at the hotel.
