We stayed at this hotel to celebrate my birthday. I received a lovely surprise and a free cupcake. The room with a private pool was fantastic; we slept wonderfully, the water pressure was great, and the private pool with sunset views was wonderful. The hotel has a buggy that takes you everywhere; we never waited more than five minutes. The staff was very friendly and always had a smile. The only thing that could have been better and was a disappointment was breakfast. While there was certainly a lot of variety, it wasn't very tasty; it didn't seem like local food or pastries; the tortillas were too dry. For me, the best things were the papayas and cappuccino. To get to the island, you can hire a service that practically takes you by hand and leaves you sitting in your room. The price is good (we paid 3600 baht for two trips). To leave the hotel, you can request a buggy that takes you to the infinity pool, which is located at the end of the hotel. From there, you can find taxis that look unsafe, but we didn't have any problems (100 baht per person one way). They take you to the small town, where there are restaurants (we had our dinners there at a good price), minimarkets, and pharmacies. If you want to go further, you can take a boat with the hotel or walk to the hotel (which has a purple parasol) and buy a ticket (300 baht per person one way) that takes you to the city. As for the excursions you can take with the hotel, there's not much difference in price. You can use the kayak for free. Overall, it was a great experience; I highly recommend this hotel. As a last note, if you want a quick lunch to enjoy on the beach or in your room... near the taxis, you'll find a restaurant called Chili & Pepper. The food is excellent, the owner cooks delicious food, and has good reviews.
The geo place is super. Beach is nice!
But hotel is not so nice.
We had a bungalow very close to the beach. Not clean, bad and loud air condition, loud fridge, room is always high humidity - ugly feeling.
Don’t waste your money here…
Breakfast is not good. Very poor for a 4 star hotel.
Phi Phi Holiday Resort — a quiet little paradise that actually works.
We spent a couple of days here with friends, and honestly, it was wonderful.
The location itself is pure magic — peaceful, quiet, surrounded by lush greenery. You can feel that everything was designed and maintained with love and care. Big thanks to the gardeners — they’re the real artists behind this beauty.
The restaurant deserves special mention. Running a resort on an island like Phi Phi can’t be easy, but they manage it extremely well. Everything runs smoothly, and the food is excellent. My compliments to the chefs — maybe just add a few extra sauce options for the burgers, and it’ll be perfect.
The sea here is unreal. You can literally snorkel straight from the beach. Every day, speedboats with group tours stop right here so their guests can swim and see the reef — but you, staying at the resort, can just grab a mask, snorkel, and fins at the reception and go whenever you want. No rush, no crowd.
The staff are friendly, smiling, genuinely nice people. You can’t help but smile back — and that alone sets the tone for the whole stay.
So, thank you — to the management, the staff, the gardeners, the cooks, everyone who keeps this place running smoothly in such a remote spot. You make it not just a stay, but a lovely experience that’s hard to forget.
