Cool bee stalactites!!! 🐝 pretty good track leading to the cave. A tiny bit narrow and scratchy but great fun. Lost a star for accessibility down to the cave but it’s all part of the experience right? (A joke from my dad…. How do you know the difference between stalactites and stalagmites? When the mites go up, the tights come down!) 😂
Awesome spot if you have a 4x4, make sure to lower tire pressure before entering, big bee hive at the entrance of the cave so bee careful 😉
Great spot, 4wd only AND tyres to 25psi or less:)

Lower tire pressure before entering with your 4x4 for better traction on soft sand tracks
Contact Department's Jurien Bay office at (08) 9688 6000 for permit information if planning to enter certain locked caves
Be cautious of feral bees around the cave entrance; carry a torch for visibility inside

Definitely need a 4WD to get our there. The track gets narrow in sections so expect to pick up plenty of scratches. The native bee hives are pretty impressive, but they also prevented us from getting anywhere near the cave entrance. Don't advise taking kids.
