Beautiful wine tasting and cheese board experience. I really liked these vineyards because they were less manicured and had a more natural feel to them. The wines were delicious and paired with cheese for each glass. We chose to have 4 white wines; it’s great that you can choose between white and red depending on your preference. Our server was very knowledgeable. It was a great experience overall and great value.
Sept.25: This Bodega I wanted to visit, as they serve much different kinds of Torontes (white wines). It wass only a 10 minutes walk from our accommodation. We were helped by Lucas who spoke very well English. He was learning to become a history teacher. This wine yard manufactured 80% of big bottles from 2.5 liters upto 15 liters. We would have loved to buy such a big bottle of Torontes, but this isn't allowed by airport regulations; maximum bottles of 1 liter, even magnums aren't allowed & taken if were brought! Lucas told us about history & expansion of the wine yards & telling the whole story of the creator of Don Domingo, still living with 93 years old today. A man who never gave up; it was an incredible story. However his 3 sons run the plantation. They also have a cheese factory Domingo Molinos a bit further away. From the cheese platter we could taste, it was served together with the wines. Highly recommended if you're visiting Cafayate. Excellent service, good wines & affordable prices.
This winery and our host Lucas was sensational and spoke wonderful English. The exact amount of information and time to enjoy the ambiance, it was paced perfectly and you could tell he was interested in what he does. Great value and delicious wine.

If you want to go to a winery in cafayate, you have to go outside the city but there is an exception. We went to Domingo Hermanos and had the most informative and delicious wine and cheese tasting. Lucas guided us though the history of the region and educated us though some delicious wines and cheeses. So happy with out decision to stop in Domingo Hermanos
