Really delicious chicken! Torihei is a chain that specializes in chicken and to my knowledge, is only in the Gunma prefecture. I’ve come here for both takeout bentos and for dining in for lunch, and this is some of my favorite chicken I’ve had. The meat is incredibly tender, not dry at all, and the sauce is just perfect. I was really surprised at the quality of chicken coming from this relatively inexpensive restaurant chain. Their chicken karaage is also so delicious, juicy with a light crispy fry on the outside. Glad I came across this place and would recommend it for sure.
