This is a very cool little museum built on top of a very special archeological site! It contains the excavated remains of an old town that used to thrive at this important location at the confluence of 2 rivers and trade routes!
It's quite a cool museum with its own downloadable app for listening to the exposition. The only problem - the app doesn't work without the internet which, actually, is rather poor in the place 😟 so, we were able to listen to only half of the materials, some of them we read, some couldn't open.
Favorite museum of my town. You can literally see the town from the past, streets and houses, as they were hundreds of years ago.
I've never seen anything like that.

Arkheologicheskiy Muzey Berest'ye is a unique and fascinating museum located on an important archeological site at the confluence of two rivers and trade routes. Visitors can explore the excavated remains of an old town, including streets and houses from hundreds of years ago. The museum offers a downloadable app for exposition listening, although internet connectivity in the area might be poor. Reviewers have described it as a must-see place in Brest, providing insight into life in ancient times with its display of ancient wooden houses.
