While some reviewers found the interior lacking in information and amenities, others appreciated the craftsmanship of the fort's construction and its serene surroundings. The free ferry ride from Karlskrona to the island adds to the experience, allowing for a peaceful walk through a picturesque neighborhood before reaching the fortress. Despite occasional closures, visitors can enjoy beautiful views of the strait and explore this hidden gem at their own pace.

Very disappointing fort. From the outside is looks good but the inside is very blank. The rooms are completely empty with no information about that particular room at all. The museum too was not infromative for foreigners as all the information was in swedish only. The restaurant also only provided the menu in swedish. It was a waste of time to come here, therfore I dont’t understand the other positive reviews of other foreign visitors.
