COCONUT'S BAR

Hands down, the friendliest, most hospitable, kind, generous and caring couple we met on this island! Not only are they amazing, but their beach bar is fabulous! Located right on the beach, it's a very cool atmosphere with a relaxed feel, natural ambiance, and deck chairs! We spent the best part of the day there and couldn't have asked for more. The beach is clean, clear and warm. Stunning views that you can watch for hours. The locally prepared dishes were delicious. Portions were more than enough. Even my partner didn't complain with the slab of pork he had 😂 Will definitely be returning.... tomorrow 😉

Probably the most good vibe bar / restaurant to chill out. The food is delicious and the banana pão is the best in Sao Tome! So good that we order to take away!

While searching for beautiful and untouched beaches in São Tomé, you come across this little oasis with a bar and a restaurant full of unique atmosphere. The place is run by truly delightful people. The cuisine here is based on simple ingredients, yet it amazes thanks to the chef’s mastery of seasoning, marinating, and skillful grilling. The products are also local, which has its advantages. In Europe you won’t eat such juicy and naturally flavored chicken—because it simply doesn’t exist anymore. The lady experiments with local plants, creating delicious sauces and marinades. She fries plantains perfectly and composes dishes excellently. I recommend this place to everyone. I would even say it’s worth flying those several thousand kilometers just for these specialties.

Review: Coconut Bar, São Tomé My partner and I had the pleasure of visiting Coconut Bar twice during our stay in São Tomé, and it was an unforgettable experience! The food was absolutely excellent – every dish was perfectly prepared and bursting with flavor. The prices were very reasonable, offering incredible value for the quality. The atmosphere was perfect, with comfortable seating and a relaxed, welcoming vibe that made us feel right at home. The wonderful couple running the place truly made the experience special with their warmth and hospitality. The location is unbeatable, right by one of the best beaches in São Tomé. We couldn't ask for a better spot to enjoy a meal while soaking in the beauty of the island. Overall, Coconut Bar provided us with amazing food, a perfect vibe, and a memorable experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting São Tomé!

Probably our favourite bar on the island. When it's sunny you can enjoy the beautiful beach of Sete Ondas and where it's not you can wait with caipirinha for the rain to be over :) The owner is really friendly and ready to help with problems that might occure on your vacations. And she speak great English which is not very common on STP. Food and drinks were very good. And if you are a cat enthusiast (as us) they currently have two extremely cute kittens you can pet ❤️
