(Original) テレビでも何度か取り上げられてるし、クチコミを見ても美味しそうだったので、いつか行きたい！と思っていたのですが、やっと念願叶って伺うことができました。 クチコミで見た「林ライス」を食べたいと思っていたのですが、メニューが一新されたんですかね…林はありませんでした。残念…と思いました、 が！！関門海峡の地だこを使った「名物関門地だこ丼」があったので、迷わずそれにしました。(地元の方以外あまり知られていないような気がするのですが、関門海峡のタコ、おいしいです) 歯応えのある新鮮な地だこが丼一面！甘めのお醤油と、ワサビと青紫蘇も絡めて、ペロリといただきました。 食後にホットの「門司港バナナティー」をいただきました(セットではなく別オーダー)。 メニューを見た時は、紅茶とバナナの組み合わせってどうなんだろう？と思いましたが、セイロンティーとバナナがちょうどいい感じのハーモニーになっていました。 ティーポットで出てきたので、最初の一杯目はそのまま、2杯目はちょっとお砂糖を入れて、3杯目はミルクとお砂糖を入れていただきました。ミルクやお砂糖を入れた方が、バナナ感を強く感じます。本来のバナナの風味に近づくのか？戻るのか？そんな感じです。紅茶好きな人にも、バナナ好きの人にもオススメしたいです。(お土産用が販売されていたので、そちらも購入しました) コロナ禍で、店内にはビニールシートで仕切りがいっぱいできていましたが、それでもレトロ感は顕在で、待っている間は昭和を感じる展示物を眺めて楽しみことができました。 栄町銀店街から小道に入ったところにあります。レトロ地区から歩くと、信号待ちの時間を入れて10分くらいでしょうか。場所柄、駐車場はありませんが、近くにコインパーキングがあります。
