What a great history with artifacts and stories I have never heard before being from West Tennessee. Would recommend stopping in staff is truly knowledgeable and welcoming hard to believe I have never experienced before. From Carl Perkins, BB King, Tina Turner, and connections with the Beatles, Eric Clapton, and Dolly Parton truly a memorable visit. Had no idea one of the first Hard Rock Cafe and first House of Blues was in Jackson and the influence on generations of music this area had.
The director Rodgers was great to chat with. He provided additional information.
The center is a small museum with only a couple of rooms to view.
Great experience ! This was an unplanned stop and We are so happy that we decided to visit the museum. I highly recommend to put this on “must see” and “things to do”. Thank you Rodger for giving us a tour!
