We were looking for a local place that provide was highly rated. We decided to visit this restaurant based on the positive reviews I had read, and I can say it was well worth it. We ordered the seafood platter, qabuli lamb and qabuli chicken. The food was clearly freshly prepared, it was hot, served nicely and delicious. The lamb was tender and falling off the bone and the chicken was tender. The seafood was slightly overcooked, but nevertheless, it was still very good. Overall the food was really good and tasty and the staff were friendly and attentive.
I recently dined at Delicato Kitchen in Salalah, and it was such a delightful experience! The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was bursting with flavor and clearly made with care. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Not only that, but the service was impressively fast; we didn’t have to wait long at all to enjoy our meal. The restaurant was relatively quiet, which I assume is because it's not the peak season in Salalah, but this added a nice, peaceful ambiance to the experience. What I particularly appreciated was that they offer family rooms for dining, making it a great option for those seeking a bit of privacy or a cozy space for loved ones. Overall, I’d highly recommend Delicato Kitchen for anyone looking for good food, warm hospitality, and efficient service in Salalah!
The lobster 🦞 in the Royal pasta was delicious 😋 and well prepared, but the portion was less than expected. The mussels were great, tasty and mostly clean. And the buffalo shrimp 🍤 is explosive in flavours. It was a nice experience, they just lack a complementary dish or snack.

Expected so much after seeing the Pictures & menu ….. but absolutely disappointed with the Quality…. The Starters like Buffalo shrimps & Dynamite Shrimps were good , but The Main Course like the Fish/Rice & Bucket/Chicken were Pathetic & surely the chef did not know what he was doing ! The Pricing is also a bit high here , so overall the Experience was a LetDown !
