Montage Laguna Beach

TLDR: One of my favorite hotels in the world. Impeccably maintained property with gorgeous views and an outstanding team to match. Vibe Posh, but not stuffy. Inviting to all different types of guests. You'll find locals, families, couples, solo travelers, business groups, and wedding parties all wonderfully enjoying their time. Service I couldn't help but notice how every single guest was receiving great attention. From kids to adults, those dressed up or dressed down, regardless of race/ethnicity, popping in for lunch or an extended stay, the staff are remarkably consistent with their care--I love that. Special shout out to these staff members who were unfailingly nice, patient, and accommodating: Reception: Tyson's professional and warm welcome at check-in set the tone for our trip and I'll never forget how he made my child feel special from the onset. Kids/Paintbox : Miss Sofia went above and beyond to make my child feel comfortable and excited. She committed my child's name to memory from a brief pass by and rememberd when we came in for a stay. She sent a surprise postcard and thoughtfully timed it so it would be at house after our arrival. Paintbox is safe, sanitary, organized, and inviting thanks to the hard work of great teachers like Miss Sofia. Pool: Mike and Asher blew us away with their responsiveness, hustle, and memory. Even when the pool was packed, we felt taken care of as if we were the only family there. Beach: Tanner took care of us everyday and was outstanding with his setup and accommodations for beach chairs. He made "yes" happen to our high maintenance bunch. Room: We've stayed in their entry rooms to large suites, and no matter what room you are in, you will like view, design, and layout flow. This is so hard to get at hotels and I appreciate how they achieve this despite the room category. Room service: Appreciated the high quality ingredients and accommodations they made to our orders. Every dish from kids to adult was fantastic. Cleaning staff: Great attention to detail and it seemed like they focused on actually sanitizing and not just wiping to make it look clean. Recommendations: I just ask that they please add a fresh smoothie option to the menus. They only do juices and a dachary mix at this time, but fresh fruit smoothies would allow kids and adults to get nutrition as they do at home. Also, please include napkins during the 4pm s'mores offering.
