After 2 hrs I checked out, I received a call from the hotel and told me that they double-charged me, since I requested to use another credit card, instead of using my deposit. They already had 2 staff handled my bill, still got things wrong. The staff said it was the backend mistake, it's really blowing my mind. I have no idea how complicated it is......

Tons of Question marks after my stay.
1st of all, I had never stayed in any Rosewood before, I just went to meals at Rosewood HK, so I have doubt if Rosewood HK can stand this one. BTW, no bias on this comment.
2ndly, I don't understand how their 4.8 scores come from, maybe 15 years ago (?!)
Hotel is dated, from design to utilities and amenities, nothing seems refreshed. One of USB sockets in my room couldn't charge, took 5 hours still not able to get 50% of my phone.
Service is the most mouth-dropping disappointment. Nothing close to attention to details, especially at the Breakfast, I had my breakfast at 10:30am (while it would be ended by 11am), no glasses by the water/drink station, no small bowls for soft bean curds, no soya dishes by the seasoning station, etc.. many more to be shared.
When I asked the waitress for beverage menu, she roses her brows and said they don't have it and asked us what we want. This is NOT because this waitress has bad service, in fact, NO training is given to her, as she is not the single case I experienced at the breakfast, the hostess was pretty much the same gesture and manners.
Food that I took to my table, 80% would be dumped into the trash, same as the other tables. What's a wastage of resources!!
Overall, I had experience staying in the aging hotels of some big names, so what I am expecting from them would be their top notch service, but really, this is one of my most disappointing experience.
