We stayed at the lovely Ports of Call Resort for 3 days, and I can honestly say the hospitality was exceptional. The staff—some of the friendliest I’ve ever encountered—were attentive, warm, and truly went the extra mile.
What really stood out was the care and kindness shown by Jodi at the front desk. I ended up with a really bad sunburn during our stay, and she actually brought me a fresh aloe plant leaf to help soothe the burn. That thoughtful gesture meant so much and speaks volumes about the service here.
The location is also perfect—right in the heart of Grace Bay, close to shops, restaurants, and the beach. As a bonus, the complimentary breakfast and all-day access to great coffee and fresh croissants made our stay even more enjoyable.
I would absolutely recommend Ports of Call Resort to anyone visiting the islands. The people here truly make it special.
I went with my family last month over Memorial day weekend. I would say its an overall 3-3.5 stars. The rooms have a musty smell but they were very clean, which is important. Not top luxury, but affordable for Turks and Caicos. I was celebrating my birthday and it would have been nice if the hotel would have acknowledged it with a special drink at the bar, bottle of wine or champagne or anything, but they did not. A missed opportunity on their part to add a little something extra for their guests that are there to celebrate an occasion.
The hotel is not beach front but it is a short 5 or so minute walk to the beach and a lot of the great restaurants in Grace Bay like Embers and all the restaurants in the Seven Stars Resort and the Ritz.
I do have to recognize two staff members that really did go above and beyond to say hello and were friendly. Bernard and Justin were very nice. Bernard in particular was always greeting me and my family, he was awesome!
I had a fantastic experience at Ports of Call Resort during my stay in Turks and Caicos. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, always making me feel welcome and taken care of. The included breakfast was fresh and satisfying—such a great way to start each day.
Housekeeping kept everything spotless, and while I did see two bugs during my stay on the second floor, it wasn’t a major issue and didn’t take away from the overall comfort.
They have activities nearly every night so it’s perfect for a solo traveler so you can meet other guests and the staff. Free snacks and discounts on drinks during these times. Tuesday Trivia was my favorite. I won a t shirt.
The resort has a dedicated spot on the beach with umbrellas and chairs. They’ll know who you are by your towel, so just grab one on your way out and enjoy a comfortable day on the sand.
There are hammocks behind the pool and also grills available for guests to use, if you’re coming with a family, this is a great way to save money since food on the islands is expensive due to taxes and service charges (over 15% the cost of the meal before tip).
I would absolutely stay here again—every time I visit the country, this will be my go-to spot.

The location of this hotel is super duper PRIME. Everything is close by and walkable. Grace Bay beach is literally 5 min walk and they have Golf Carts to drop you back from the beach.
Hotel rooms are good enough considering you will be out pretty much all day.
Free breakfast so that saves you some $$ since Turks is so expensive for food!
The hotel staff is great and went above and beyond when i had a house keeping issue.
The bartender Cortez is amazing and makes a great drink. Very friendly.
Lots of parking available around the hotel.
The buildings are old but clean. It’s not as close to the beach as we thought it would be. Golf cars are available to take you to and from the beach every hour, they have their own section at the beach with lounge chairs, umbrellas and towels. Breakfast is so basic but okay. The pool is so small compared to the number of guests. Overall is not bad but we had higher expectations!
