Although the full plan was never completed due to financial constraints, this fortress still offers a great viewing point over the archipelago and historical naval port. The provincial governor's house, Residenset, is located nearby. Beautiful.
Bastion Aurora is such a cool spot to check out in Karlskrona. It’s this old fortification that somehow survived all these years, and it’s the only one left in its original form around here. When you get there, the views of the harbor and the islands are just stunning — really peaceful and perfect if you want to take a breath and soak it all in.
