I will start by saying I've stayed at the titanic a couple of years ago and it was fabulous, needless to say I was expecting much the same experience but sadly this was not so .. so on arrival the receptionist were polite and helpful , after checking in myself and my husband headed off to the changing rooms , there was no explanation on how to use the lockers as in you need to put in a code twice to make it lock , after opening several lockers looking for one that would work it seems no one else knows how to work them either as most were unlocked but full ..onto the pool , sauna etc all much as I remember them but a bit tired and grubby, felt a tad dirty but we made the most of the facilities, onto lunch if you could call it that , we made our way to the dining area at our designated time and waited to be seated , we were greeted by quite a sour faced young lady who then seated us , a short while later the same girl took our lunch order , I ordered a soft drink and the chicken pasta , the pasta arrived if you could call it that , it was seriously overcooked to the point of sludge , it contained 3 very small pieces of chicken and 3 olives , the sauce consisted of what tasted like tomato puree , it was inedible, whilst sat in the dining room all we heard was the girl who was serving us complaining to a young man behind the counter about how stressed she was .still trying to make the most of our stay we laughed it off and said hopefully dinner would be better , we then checked into our room which was clean and looked nice , onto our facials , we arrived at the treatment rooms at the time given , this was the part I was looking forward to as I've had many elemis facials and find them so relaxing including a previous one at titanic, the young lady escorted me to the treatment room , very polite etc really lovely young lady but that was where the enjoyment ended , I lay on the treatment bed and attempted to relax , now I have stated that I have had a facial at titanic before and the lady doing the treatment was like a silent ninja so much so I slept through the treatment, this time the lady clattered and banged drawers , rattled packets rolled her chair round the bed , even mixing the face mask she proceeded to bang away at the pot ,after applying my face face I then heard her guzzling a drink , the products used where lovely but the treatment itself was shocking.Off to our evening meal , our table was booked for 7.30 and once again seated by a unhappy looking young lady , our food and drinks order was taken and our starters arrived but no drinks , this also happened with lunch , eventually drinks arrived but they were not ours , my husband said these are not our order and the lady huffed and puffed at us and took them away , eventually our drinks arrived after we had finished our starters, I attempted to order another glass of wine only to be completely ignored , at 8.37 our main meal arrived lol , one hour , 7 min from being seated , I will add the restaurant was quite , I then once again asked for a glass of wine for the girl to reply can you bare with me , I'm not sure what I was baring with as she had been stood around doing nothing and avoiding eye contact with customers and the drink station was probably about 4 foot from our table , once again the food was inedible so off to our room , no plug sockets in the bedroom to charge our phones or use the hairdryer, 2 lovely bedside lamps at either side of the bed neither worked , TV was hit and miss , signal kept going , next morning breakfast was 2 stale dried out bagels , overall not a great experience
