The building looks decent from the outside, but that’s where the charm ends. The showers were so ridiculously small it honestly would’ve been easier to shower in a broom closet. The rooms and elevators had an awful, lingering odor, and the bathrooms smelled strongly of sewage. The bathrooms were also wet upon arrival and showed visible signs of mold in some areas, which is completely unacceptable for a hotel of this supposed caliber. The rooms themselves were not properly cleaned, with dust, dirt, and general untidiness throughout. The bed sheets were very soft, which was nice, but unfortunately they were also dirty, with visible stains and traces of dirt. The floors throughout the hotel were wet and slippery in random spots, with no warning signs anywhere, creating an unsafe environment for guests. When it came to food service, some of the staff was kind, but unfortunately, that didn’t make up for the painfully slow and somewhat confused service. Much of the staff (reception, breakfast, etc...) were extremely rude, unprofessional, and lazy. Pushing the blame on to their guests for the mistakes that they made. I could’ve traveled from the hotel to Mallorca in the time it took to get a simple snack at the rooftop bar. To make matters worse, I requested a specific type of taxi one hour before my departure, and the staff failed to arrange it, claiming that no taxis of that kind were available. It is honestly preposterous that this hotel is a member of The Leading Hotels of the World. If this establishment meets their standards, then the organization has completely lost all credibility. Overall, this place looks good from the exterior but fails miserably where it actually counts. The price itself wasn’t terrible, but even at a lower cost, the experience was not worth it.
