This park is so near Ulaanbaatar, so easy to arrive and to see. The “wild horses “ are the “ kings “ of the park. Very beautiful!
Its best known as the home of the Przewalski’s horse(clained to be the only wild horse surviving nowadays) , the park offers a rare chance to see these once-extinct wild horses roaming freely, but its hard to spot them, so you need a bit of patient and luck in order to see them.

Fabulous! I volunteered here for a week and loved every minute! Most people just come for a day to the wild horses — which are marvelous!— but if you stay longer you’ll see more. Accommodations are good and food is not fancy, but nourishing.
An amazing park to visit with family. You will require a vehicle to drive through this large park. There were lots of marmots popping up everywhere.
We saw the Przewalski horses, a wild Mongolian horse with 2 baby foals. Near the front entrance you will see a couple of gers and one had a video presentation about the horses. Not far off is a small presentation of the type of animals located in the area.
A must visit to see the last of these wild horses
