If you’re thinking of staying here… THINK TWICE.
One of the MOST TERRIBLE places we’ve stayed at.
We’ve traveled to many countries, but this property is far from ideal if you want a relaxing, convenient, and stress-free stay.
Staff are friendly and accommodating, but not all are well-informed. Now let’s start with what went wrong:
1️⃣ Check-in & Room Issues
I requested welcome leis for my family (first time in the Philippines) not prepared because they “didn’t have pearls.” I never asked for pearls; I asked for leis.
The 1-bedroom suite had a small bed, no kitchen towel, and the shower had no door, so water flooded the floor. The washing machine was leaking badly we had to call several times before they fixed it. They offered to move us, but the other room had the same issues. Please inspect your rooms before selling them. Don’t you have a checklist?
2️⃣ Breakfast Experience
One morning, the place was busy, and we were told we could only stay for an hour because a big group was coming. Really? We’re paying guests on vacation not fair to rush people who just want to enjoy breakfast with family.
3️⃣ Pool & Security
We forgot our wristbands (not all resorts require them). A guard came and asked one of our family members, “Are you in the Airbnb?” humiliating and unprofessional. We said we were hotel guests, yet he told us to go to the lobby to get wristbands while soaking wet. Why not keep a list or provide them at the pool area? Security should only step in when guests refuse to cooperate. The way it was handled was embarrassing.
4️⃣ Bikes
Bikes are only allowed at 9AM , who wants to ride under the heat of the sun? Guests would prefer 6–7AM for exercise. No wonder the bikes are rusty and poorly maintained.
5️⃣ Breakfast Buffet & Cleanliness
The buffet does not meet HACCP food safety standards.
Eggs cold, not kept at 60°C.
Under/soft-cooked eggs even when requested well-done (waited 30–45 minutes).
Soup cups, cereal bowls, and plates were dirty, wet, or smelled bad.
No allergen or dietary labels (some of my family have allergies and vegetarian restrictions).
“Morning booster shots” unlabeled & unstirred
Black coffee most of the time empty.
Glasses stored under cabinets without protection.
Air-conditioner leaking inside the restaurant reported, but never fixed. Staff acted like it was normal.
6️⃣ Lost Item / Security Concern
My jacket went missing inside our room. I reported it immediately, gave details, and even told the sales coordinator. They said they’d call back but no one did. I had to follow up multiple times, repeating the same details. They said they’d review bodycam footage, and by checkout, still no update. They confirmed it was seen on video but it “ magically disappeared.” That’s alarming. Makes you wonder what else could go missing that guests don’t even notice.
We booked 8 rooms for this stay, expecting a memorable family celebration instead, it turned into one of the most stressful experiences we’ve had.
To the management: Inspect your rooms, train your staff properly, and take guest concerns seriously.
Shoutout to the good ones:
Emman (Restaurant Manager) — truly amazing, took care of my family every morning. Also, Mike, Juan, and the front desk/concierge team for their efforts.
Nice location and friendly staff but terrible management, unsafe for belongings, and poor communication.
We even planned to buy a condo unit here, but after this experience, never again.
