Hello everyone! If you don't like long reviews, then don't read this one! =D ~I highly rec this awesome hotel. Whether you need to stay short or long term, this is a FABULOUS hotel for you, your kids and your furbabies too! ~I had a super extended stay "thanks" to Hurricane Helene booting my dogs and I out of the place we called home for over nine yrs.. Bef they even met me, EVERY employee w/whom I interacted w/via phone, was ALWAYS welcoming, patient, helpful and kind. I kept changing my reservation repeatedly (due it taking SO very long to sort, salvage, pack, clean etc) and yet, not ONCE did any employee change their accepting, super friendly and kind personalities. ~Finally checked in 11/23/24 and didn't check out until 9/20/25! Wow! 'Was blessed w/FEMA help who covered hotel costs until 3/6/25. After that, the mgr graced we FEMA guests w/discount rate for which I am eternally grateful. ~Why did I enjoy my stay there SO very much? EVERY employee there, in every area of their staff, were friendly, helpful, accomodating, professional and kind. Rooms and entire hotel are clean, spacious, comfy and kept up via regular cleanings. You have total control of the temp in your rm.. The indoor, heated pool is a bit of heaven, a wonderful bonus! Also available: laundry rm, sm gym, lovely firepit plus tables and chairs in courtyard plus coffee, tea and hot choc 24/7. ~(Please people! Dry off BEFORE leaving pool area! Most people did but far too many did not which makes floors in halls and elevator dangerous plus more work for the staff! There were always towels in the pool rm in case one didn't bring any from your room.) ~My dogs were at a friends', but yes, this hotel is SO pet friendly! They even have cookie bone treats near their front desk for your canines. And yes people, you need pick up after your dogs please! Most people did but again, too many did not, leaving dog droppings for people to step on for goodness' sake. This creates more work for staff who is already busy enough! ~They grace their guests w/a lovely and FULL breakfast ev single morn. There is SO much there, that no matter what you may prefer for your breakfast, they have you covered. The main entree was always scrambled eggs and the two side choices varied ea day = might be tater tots, home fries or biscuits w/sausage gravy. Then it might be Italian sausage links or patties or turkey sausage patties. ~In addition, they ALWAYS had hard boiled eggs, waffles you make yourself, various cold cereals or hot oatmeal, diff yogurts, fresh fruits, tons of bread items = whole wheat, white, english muffins, diff bagels plus pastries. Cream cheese, jellies, peanut butter, butter, juices, milk plus various condiments also available. ~Any issue that may arise during your stay and all you need do is ask - they are rt on it! The hotel is also adjacent to Westgate Plaza, so you can easily walk to various stores and businesses plus they are rt off major highways. 'Couldn't ask for more convenience from a hotel insofar as all they offer plus all that is handy due their location. ~If the need arises in my future, I would stay there again in a heartbeat! In fact, I actually miss being there!! I miss the people, the service w/care and kindness, the total comfort package there w/all they offer. ~So BIG thank you shout out to EVERY staff member at this hotel!! Thank you, thank you. I was devastated after the hurricane like so many and you all welcomed me, comforted me in every way and helped me heal and move on. No greater gift can we bestow another! God bless you all and see you again! I will pop in to say hello ev so often bec the staff and some of the guests there became way more than staff and acquaintances - they became friends.
