It's a great experience for all of us. This private tour is a lot more than doing your own trips to public view points. Bus tour takes you to the minefield and drives through the yard and their own private viewing point. It's really valuable .we enjoyed it and I would say it's the best part of our road trip to Kalgoorlie.

The tour driver was very good, giving a running commentary all the way through. First stop was the public viewing point, followed by a tour of the facilities getting close to some fully loaded dumpsters (400t) and finished with a further lookout, this time inside the mine.
Pretty boring ho hum tour, I thought the public mine lookout was heaps better than the Tour Lookout, but the tour driver was great and very knowledgeable about the workings of the mine, but the Hannan North Mine tour is heaps better and if you go on Sunday you can see the gold pour, all the other tours and attractions like the racecourse museum and the gold museam are fantastic, do yourself a favour and spend at least a week in Kalgoorlie, you'll need that much time to have a good look around.

Friendly staff, did pit tour. Driver was sick and coughing , so we sat right up the back of the bus. He was apparently replacing another driver who was sick
Excellent super pit tour, our driver was entertaining and full of knowledge. Felt like we were learning something every sentence. Highly recommend. The souvenir shop was interesting and full of different items.
