This is a must visit when in sutherland. They have daily shows featuring documentaries on the galaxy, extremely interesting. But then at night they host a star gazing experience which is out of this world. Willem was our host and made it an unforgettable experience, he is knowledgeable and brings across the information in a fun and entertaining manner, it is clear that the galaxy is his passion. We walked away in awe.

The 3D show was amazing, detailed with lots of information. Unfortunately the weather didnt play along for the stargazing. But great experience. The staff are friendly and helpful. Hot beverages avail too.

Amsxing experience and 3D show. There is small little restaurant and selection of souvenirs, friendly staff. Will definitely stop again when we pass through.

An experience worth the 1 hour show. A short nap in the recling chairs is forgivable.

Booked a stargazing experience with a quick call. Walked to the planetarium from our accommodation in Sutherland at 8:30pm. Willem was incredibly passionate and knowledgeable! Clearly is his absolute favourite thing to talk about and share. He showed us Jupiter, Orion’s Belt, Mars, The Milkyway and other clusters of stars. He showed us how to navigate using the Southern Cross. Willem also showed us how to take pics of the nighttime sky with our phones - which was an absolute treat for me! He took time to chat to my son who had some questions in between stargazing. Wonderful experience.
