The bridge is pretty, the surrounding area is nice! There r some people fishing here, so I think people can fish here. Didn't see too many washrooms. Good for walking, biking, running, and dog walking ❤️
An easy, wide, well kept gravel trail along an old railway line. There were some great views of the river at the beginning and the history of the Menesetung Bridge was fascinating. There is a small parking lot at the head of the trail, though it can fill up on busy days. This section of trail is the start of the Goderich to Guelph trail, so it is a there and back trail which goes a long distance and for single day trips will be done in sections. This section is very pretty and a nice easy hike in town.
There were two off-shoot trails which were dirt based and had more hills and nature for a change. This allowed to make a loop and see more of the area. It was a good hike on a cool day and is sure to be a popular area in the summer.
There's a bridge with a nice view, which leads to trails for walks and cycling. In the summer, parking may be difficult to find.
