I'll never travel to Suriname without this trip planner again
Interesting place to visit. Lots of trails to walk. We heard monkeys but couldn't actually see them. Also, we were told someone saw a sloth. How cool. Nice place to explore and get the feel of the rain forest. Amazing.
What a great day out! We arrived early so as to avoid the mid day sun and heat. Take plenty of water with you and some snacks. Recommend you either wear trouser and long sleeves or definitely take mosquito repellent. Price of entry is 100SRD for a local and 200SRD for a tourist. The park has one main route in a straight line with a couple of side trails. We manage to spot 5 sloth and plenty of various monkey species. You can rent bikes here, although we didn’t so I’m not sure of the prices. Along the route there are plenty of places to stop and rest on a bench. There’s also a tower that you can climb which takes you up into the rainforest canopy.
All in all an excellent day and highly recommend.
Beautiful biking trails!
The canoe route doesn't seem to be getting the proper maintenance
Almost no proper signals on which way to go and it's not possible to go further to the bridge anymore, lots of branches in the way
All in all still a fun place
Don't forget your musquito spray!!

Consider taking a guided tour to learn about the history of the plantation and identify wildlife
Wear long sleeves and insect repellent due to large mosquitoes in the area
Bring sneakers for comfortable walking on trails
Renting bikes is recommended to cover more ground in the expansive park

It was a very adventurous Kano tour with my family, it's also kids friendly and safe. Along the trip we saw some monkeys. We paddled a distance of about 3 km in 3 hours.
