Plenty of free parking
This park is fantastic! The rotunda, the exotic birds, and a cockatoo that talks, a turkey called Hector. The park is well kept and is great place to take the kids. There are even kangaroos and emus. We really enjoyed our time there.
This park is a great spot for a picnic! There’s even a designated BBQ area, which is perfect for grilling. Peacocks and ducks casually walk by while you relax, and there are plenty of birds in cages to watch. Two parrots named Joe and Mecca will even say hello and dance if you tell them “dance cocky” – it’s adorable! The only downside is that I couldn’t find any water taps anywhere.

One of the best places to visit in Kalgoorlie, you get to have a quick scan of the variety of wildlife and amazing view of the nature. Place that brings smile on your face and gives you peace of mind. #No entry fees 🤩🕊️🥰
Beautiful grounds, but if you've ever seen birds mucking around in the wild, this place will make you sad :(
There are so many in cages, and I didn't notice any signs explaining why. Hopefully they are rescues (?) but if so, we should make that clear so as not to encourage others to unnecessarily cage them.
