Wow, walking to the top of bald rock is an amazing experience, one of the best hikes I've ever done, amazing, 360 degrees and not a house in sight! Beautiful!
Amazing granite boulders and views. Took the "easier" slower Bungoona walk up to the Summit - then the very steep but quick descent back down the granite wall. Challenging on the knees but doable.
A beautiful walk, the grade 5 bit is very steep. I recommend sturdy boots with good grip. Wattle was out and the little purple flowers too. Gorgeous! Track is well maintained.

Consider visiting on weekdays to potentially have the mountain to yourself during quieter times
Start your hike early in the day to catch sunrise or plan an afternoon visit for sunset views
Prepare for a steep climb with some sections reaching up to a 45° incline; sturdy footwear is recommended
Pack plenty of water and snacks as there are limited amenities along some trails; be mindful of your physical abilities before attempting certain paths

Making our way along the various tracks in Girraween NP was amazing. I've never hiked in the Granite Belt before and the more we elevated it offered more discoveries and eventually an incredible view...what I loved the most was sitting amongst the 🐝 Spring was alive and the weather truly beautifully 🌎⛰️🧭🥾😎
Very pleasant place and adventurous. You need to go on a clear day where there is no chance of rain. We need to come back from the mid because of rain. Nice place to go with family and fried
