I’m a truck driver so I should know good food. I have one thing to say about this place absolutely mind blowing. I’ve eaten Indian food quite a number of times but never to that level. That is absolutely out of the ballpark super good. I always order two or three put them in the freezer And take them out on my next run. This is my last night before I get home. I absolutely love this restaurant. The management is absolutely amazing very accommodating. The only one thing that I could say is turn the lights down a little bit. I’m still sleepy when I get in there. An amazing place to eat love it never had a bad meal. I’ve had the American stuff too. Absolutely the best vegetables I’ve ever had in my whole life, hands-down with the chicken oh my gosh and anything on the Indian food I’ve ate and it’s all good every bit of it. This is a 10 if it was in Portland, there would be a line around the block every day seven days a week 12 hours a day, I guarantee it highly underrated highly underrated.
This restaurant looks great and it was pleasant to be there. Margaritas were spot on although we found that $12 for one was a bit steep considering the area and the average price elsewhere, but we still ended up having a few each. Food looked great but could’ve been so much better; I had the sirloin steak which came with a side of loaded mash and grilled vegetables, which were both absolutely brilliant. However, despite having ordered my steak medium rare, it arrived medium at best, well done for the most part, and it was very very salty. I chose not to complain because I was starving and couldn’t have waited another 30 minutes for the next one. But the real problem I had tonight was with the waiter. Literally all our bills except for one were wrong and most of my colleagues were overcharged, which we wouldn’t necessarily have figured out had we not asked for separate bills. At this point instead of scrapping the wrong bills and printing out the correct ones, the waiter tried to have us work out the math and settle payment anyway and he struggled so much to make it right that it took us over 20 minutes only to be able to pay. On top of this, even though before the meal we were told that we were gonna get a discount for staying at a partner hotel down the road, there was actually no discount on the bill. When confronted about this the waiter apologised and said that he forgot about it. Errare humanum est, no big deal. If it wasn’t that his apology is all we got! In fact, I was the only person to actually get a 10% discount on my food and that’s only because everybody else had already paid. The absurd part is that in all this, the waiter still had all the cash my mates had given him in his hands, yet the thought of handing some of it back to them in order to reflect the discount never even crossed his mind! Overall the waiter seemed to have no idea of how to deal with customers, even made an unfortunate joke about the age of one of our friends who turned 70 today, saying that he looked older than he his….
The best butter chicken (Indian food) I have ever had. Creamy deliciousness, slightly sweet with Indian spice, melt in your mouth amazing… and the chicken was seared and cooked perfectly then added to that delicious gravy. The naan was homemade and delicious as well. The side of rice was cooked perfectly. Hubby had a giant delicious pork chop with “the best mashed potatoes he has ever had”. The prices were good for an amazing upscale dinner in a comfortable welcoming restaurant with friendly staff. The food was so good that folks in the restaurant were chatting with each other about it. I wish they were open for breakfast! Great work, Sunridge Bar and Grill at Best Western in Baker City, Oregon!

We are local and heard good things about about the Sunridge restaurant from friends. So, we thought we would give it a try. The atmosphere is wonderful after the remodel. The manager came to our table and explained the menu and gave use some recommendations, which was nice. We ordered Samosa for an appetizer and it was great, with just the right amount of zest to the spices. We then tried the Butter Chicken for our entree. Hands down the best Butter Chicken I have ever eaten. The nann bread was fresh made and added to the already absolutely delicious meal. This is a must try place and I know we will definitely be regularly eating at the Sunridge!
