I just had my wedding at the Inn last month. It is an absolutely beautiful venue! I was completely sold on the fact that it is basically all-inclusive; boutique hotel, salon for morning of, restaurant for rehearsal dinner and after party, beautiful garden for the ceremony and great reception hall, florist, and catering!
Stephanie, our Coordinator, was so kind and pleasant to work with. I loved Tracey, the on-site florist. She is so talented! Everyone we dealt with was so warm, thorough, and professional. And the food and service was excellent. We received so much great feedback from our guests.
I feel like they could and should definitely update their processes. I thought having most of our vendors in one location would make my life easier, but there is still a lot of juggling different contacts, emails, and payments with different people, and it's all on paper. They should have an online portal with a message system and a way to make payments online. It would've been so much easier and more organized.
And the only negative experience I had out of everything was dealing with Jen from the Salon. My stylist, Alisha, could not have been sweeter. She was great to work with, but management was surprisingly unprofessional. Otherwise, the venue is amazing!
I am absolutely furious about the experience my daughter and I had at this so-called luxury hotel. We stayed in room 204 at The Inn at Leola Village, which is supposedly one of the nicest places in the Lancaster area. Let me tell you, it was anything but.
First of all, we were charged around $850 a night for a room that felt like a dated roadside motel. The faucet handle in the bathroom was wobbly, the carpet and furnishings were old and tired, and the entire place just felt like it needed a serious upgrade. Fine, I can tolerate outdated decor if the service and peace are at least up to par. But it got so much worse.
We were woken up at the crack of dawn by what sounded like a full-on conversation happening right on the other side of paper-thin walls. We tried to sleep in after a late night because we had massages booked at 11 AM, but there was no chance of that. I called management, and the manager just shrugged it off, saying, "Oh yeah, the café is next door." As if that was a good enough excuse for why we were basically paying top dollar to feel like we were sleeping in a noisy break room.
They offered a measly $100 credit on an $850 room, after we spent around $1,800 in total for one night including dinner and massages. And the manager was dismissive, barely made eye contact, and acted like it was no big deal. Well, it's a big deal to me, and it's absolutely not the kind of service or experience anyone should accept at that price point.
In short: avoid this place if you want a true luxury stay. It might have been nice once upon a time, but it’s overpriced, outdated, and the management doesn't care. One star, and I hope the owner reads this and rethinks how they handle their guest issues.
We stayed in one of the whirlpool suites, and it’s absolutely gorgeous — spacious, beautifully designed, spotless, and surprisingly quiet. The whirlpool tub was a highlight and made the room feel like a true getaway.
Check-in was friendly and efficient, and the hostess even escorted me to the room. It felt a little unnecessary but also kind of nice — a personal touch you don’t get everywhere. We had dinner at the on-site restaurant, and it was phenomenal. The food and service were both excellent, and it really elevated the whole experience.
A couple of things to note: the dresser is extremely top-heavy. When I opened the top and bottom drawers at the same time, the whole thing tipped forward and actually hurt my arm. The lower drawer is also so deep it’s almost useless — two smaller drawers would be safer and more functional. There were also a fair number of bugs in the room; probably expected given the setting, but still something to be aware of.
Bottom line: The suite and amenities are beautiful, the food is fantastic, and the vibe is perfect for a relaxing, romantic getaway. We loved our stay overall — just be careful with that dresser.
