As a wildlife photographer, I was thoroughly impressed by the wide variety of wildlife, especially the abundance of birds this time of year. It was an unexpected and delightful surprise to spot so many species in one visit. The trails are well-maintained, offering picturesque views and peaceful surroundings that make exploring the park a joy. Even in cooler weather, the beauty of the landscape and the richness of wildlife make it worth visiting. I’m already looking forward to returning when it warms up to capture even more of this park’s natural charm.

Very nostalgic. Like the T-shirts used to say... "Englewood, best city by a Dam Site!" Sad to see the main park overgrown with weeds except for the frisbee golf trails. Once you're around the bend though, 'Patty Shelter' was nice and clean and the area was totally clear. Ran into several nice people enjoying the beautiful day.

The Englewood Metro Park is a huge nature area full with trails, picnic spots, etc. It's great for people who are wanting to walk or bike for exercise, and there are many areas to park your car. The park has many paved trails and some that are dirt. There are also handicap accessible bathrooms, though their cleanliness will vary. Pets are also welcome! I would highly recommend this metro park to anyone who enjoys a bit of nature!
