Visited this place with kids, the museum is great. I liked it very much. All the exhibits are realistic, well described. Lots of positive emotions, gained knowledge and fun received. Recommend!

I have been to many natural history museums in the world and these two rooms that the Jagiellonian University offers to visitors are of the best quality. There are many fossils, dinosaur bones, a replica of a megalodon jaw, lots of animal exhibits, there are even human mummies, skulls, and a wonderful presentation of human evolution. I was there with my 6-year-old and it was really nice, we spent about 2 hours there. Tickets are not expensive, there are really few visitors (we were the only non-students). An additional treat is the skeleton of the Wawel Dragon, which was "identified" as one of the dinosaurs, of course with a wink (it is in a display case outside). The only problem is parking. Since it is part of the Jagiellonian University campus, there is no parking for visitors and there are really many cars parked everywhere, but fortunately you can park on the streets and on the curbs and something was found. (Original) Wspaniałe miejsce! Jakość eksponatów światowa. Byłam w wielu muzeach historii naturalnej na świecie i te dwie sale, które udostępnia UJ zwiedzającym są najlepszej jakości. Bardzo wiele skamielin, kości dinozaurów, replika szczęki megalodona, mnóstwo eksponatów zwierzęcych, są nawet mumie ludzkie, czaszki, a także wspaniale przedstawiona ewolucja człowieka. Byłam tam z moim 6-cio latkiem u było naprawdę fajnie, spędziliśmy tam ok 2 godz. Bilety nie są drogie, zwiedzających naprawdę mało (byliśmy jedynymi nie-studentami). Dodatkowym smaczkiem jest szkielet Smoka Wawelskiego, który został "zidentyfikowany" jako jeden z dinozaurów, oczywiście z przymrużeniem oka (jest on w gablocie na zewnątrz). Problemem jest tylko parking. Ponieważ jest to część kampusu UJ, nie ma parkingu dla zwiedzających i jest naprawdę dużo samochodów zaparkowanych wszędzie, ale na szczęście można parkować przy uliczkach i na krawężnikach i coś się znalazło.
