Came across Kindy’s FB page via one of their posts literally half an hour ago.
Scrolled through a few more posts and comments to get a feel for who they are — only to find myself scratching my head at the sheer number of ignorant, trolling comments 🤦♀️
Let me be clear: I don’t know this sanctuary, I don’t know the people who run it, nor do I know anyone associated with it. In fact, I hadn’t even heard of them until less than an hour ago.
But after just 30 minutes of reading public comments, reviews, and Kindy’s own posts and replies, it has become blatantly obvious that around 80% of the complaints, accusations, and negative reviews stem from prejudice, bigotry, or a holier-than-thou attitude.
The other 20% seems to come from plain ignorance or a lack of information — even though the information is available on their page. It’s not hidden.
A vegan (and I say this with no shade toward veganism — I’ve been one myself) claiming this can’t be an animal sanctuary because someone eats meat is just… ludicrous. Eating meat doesn’t mean a person lacks compassion for animals 🤦♀️
Same goes for people attacking the sanctuary’s reputation over a barn fund donation — when the builder failed to deliver on their end, and that’s clearly stated if you take even two minutes to look.
It’s a sad world when people feel entitled to attack everything and everyone over money — freely donated money, mind you. No one’s forcing you to give.
And it’s even sadder when those attacks are aimed at someone donating their time, land, and hard work to help animals in need 😔
Some sanctuary/rescue this place is. Removing a dog WITHOUT owners permission while they are in hospital, lying to public saying they had permission just to get donations (before you argue with this i personally know the owner and spoke with them and friends who all said they did not give you permission!)
They now cant provide updated photos of this dog and havent posted publicly about him in months even though they had many donations and concerned people. Seems like they are trying to sweep him under the rug and that they dont like talking about him and his story....I would be VERY careful if donating to this place!
In response to your comment:
I am not trolling. I have reached out to you privately. Your supporters should know the truth about who they are donating to and you're flat out covering a lie.
Friend of my wife donated $5000 towards a barn that never happened. My advise don’t donate to this She tells lies. I asked questions on FB and she blocked me. The government should be looking into this place. All she wants is donations Place needs auditing.all they can say is troll cannot back up anything.

Not a sanctuary, and not kind.
In response to your reply:
Honest reviews are not trolling, try to be honest for once. You pose as a sanctuary, and receive donations based on your lie. Having animals on your property, and on your plate = not a sanctuary.
I'd like to write a very good review for Kindly Animal Sanctuary. They are wonderful. The animals are all well cared for and loved by their carers.
They rescued two roosters from a Queensland pound and I know they have saved many other animals also facing euthanasia, from other pounds, or animals in need.
