I've traveled all over the US and been to probably 100 libraries. This is my favorite. Amazingly fast wifi, easy to get my work done, the staff is so kind and welcoming, and a nice huge space where there's always somewhere to sit with outlets.
Ive been here probably 20 times now and haven't got anything bad to say. There are a few people without a home who gather here during the day but it doesn't bother me. They are quite and respectful and where else are they supposed to go, you know?
We're all in this world together. Let's share it with love. The library staff does a great job at that.
Thanks and much love.
Nice, quiet library with a puzzle swap. You can check out books and DVDs and such if you have proof of residency there in Brookings, but puzzles are up for grabs. Nice place to use my laptop and get fast Wi-Fi. Restrooms were clean. Large youth center and friendly staff. I give 4 stars bc I couldn't check out a book with a DL from Grants Pass.
Once you get past the sewage treatment plant, it is a wonderful setting with great ocean views

Went in to print out some papers for my new house and my kids were playing with the toys provided like kids do and my five year old dropped something on the ground and it made a thump this Karen who works their could even be the librarian flys over to us and tells us I'm going to have to ask you to keep it down....we weren't even there five minutes and she's already nitpicking us. Didn't feel welcomed.
However there was a young woman who helped me print my paper work at front desk. She was nice.
