A terrible experience I wouldn’t wish on anyone
The problems started even before we entered the apartment. We were sent instructions on how to reach the room, but the building door could only be opened after calling a local phone number. I clearly explained via Booking that I’m a tourist and don’t have a SIM card — I only had mobile internet. I said I could message once I was near the building, but couldn’t call. Despite this, when I arrived and sent a message, I had to wait over an hour before someone opened the door. Luckily, someone was leaving the building, and I managed to get in — otherwise I’d have been stuck outside in the heat after a long journey.
Once inside, things got worse. The main issue was the lack of hot water. Out of five days, we had it only once, and even then, for a short time. My boyfriend had to heat water in a kettle so I could take a shower. Imagine paying almost €100 per night, and having to do that just to wash yourself.
Every time I reported a problem, responses were very slow — usually 30 to 60 minutes. One time, I was already in the shower, cold and waiting for a solution, standing there wet and freezing while no one responded. Eventually, they told us to go outside the room, find a switchboard, and reset something ourselves to try and restart the boiler — without even telling us where exactly to find it! I came here to rest, not to troubleshoot their equipment.
On top of that, no one ever came to clean the room during the 5-day stay. No towel changes, no soap or shampoo refills, no check-ins to ask if we needed anything. They gave us two rolls of toilet paper for five days, and when I asked for another one — especially since my boyfriend was sick — they just said: “We provide two per stay. That’s it.”
What are we supposed to do — rebook a new apartment every day just to get fresh toilet paper?
One day, we even had to go to another unit to shower, because that was the only place with hot water. But of course, that’s not a normal or acceptable solution. In our own room, not once did I manage to take a proper shower with steady hot water. Sometimes it worked for a minute or two, then turned ice cold — and all of this while my boyfriend was sick.
Overall, this place showed a complete lack of service, basic hospitality, or respect for guests. I still remember this “vacation” as a nightmare. I will never come back here and strongly warn others to avoid it.
