Just called in for dinner, Had just got into Greymouth after riding my motorcycle from Spring creek, checking in to the motor camp and then went looking for a meal. Railway Hotel was what we found. We had some great food off their in-house menu. Good meal and good portions.
Ok for the price. Don't use the wifi, I've had my accounts compromised twice here. Do is definitely this place.

Great little spot in the middle of town. My room was clean and dry staff were helpful and friendly, it’s only 3star so don’t expect too much.
While we expected the place to be basic, the hotel stunk of deeply ingrained cigarette smoke which made us feel physically sick. It was also very cold, and no facilities to make any food. Great location, but be prepared for a basic stay.
